Just completing this tank for a great guy with a 2005 chopped Sporty living in Coonecticut. This is final clearcoat and it's super-shiny... but will be even sninier after a dose of 2000-grit, 2500-grit, 3000-grit and Meguiar's 105 buffing compound.

dont feel bad about the text part. those stories were written during a frighteningly manic writing phase, for a book that will never be done.

Ahhh but what is art? Art is supposed to stimulate the senses, evoke the emotions, cause a response - and I guess he did that. Again I ask, what is art? Art can be so much more than a picture.

Im building a gas tank out of wax. then coating the wax in a silica based shell and melting the wax out and pouring in aluminum. hopefully ending up with an aluminum gas tank

Not me...
It was my B-day the other day and a good friend of mine, and CC member (ride2xs) made this up for me. He's a local artist that dabbles in all kinds of mediums. Anyhow, this is the 2nd piece he's made for me, thanks man!!!
