71' ironhead rookie build

Went for Lil ride today for my bday. Good time.

Thats is right, these bikes are a m**********r to kick start.

Changed up the bars to some mini apes. New seat in the works.

Also just put on a super e. worth every penny and more.

Im in the process of doing the same but I had a basket engine so tons of $$ spent just to get the engine to be able to run, im still a long way off from where you're at, im so jealous and so stoked. Congrats man, you did it up right.

Are you getting a fair bit of chain slap not running a chain tensioner??
Sick build by the way, must be nice to finally have it rollin.

She's a beauty. I'm in the last stages of my first real build and this thread has been inspiring.

F'in eh! Looks great! I kinda prefer the solo seat and p-pad, but whatever.

I had a toque with that Alien Workshop graphic back in about '94.

Not sure. Havnt noticed any really. I spent a lot of time adjusting the tension so it was just right.

me too but the hardtail is to short for my long arms. had to sit in the crack of the fender and couldnt move the solo seat back any further.
