Very nice looking FXR there, looks tough as nails. Got a chain conversion on the works myself, how much offset does that zippers kit have on the front/rear sprockets?

Tore it down a month ago and sent it to all to powdercoat.

Changed the rear shocks from 11" to 13.5", put Race Tech Suspension in the forks, Zippers chain conversion, and rescued some 13 spoke wheels and wrapped them in some stickier Avons. Got it running again tonight

LOVE IT. Such a great looking bike. Very clean.

I have an ' 05 SE103" bagger sitting here that ive thought about methodically crashing on more than one occasion so i would have an excuse to use the motor for my FXR. lol

I cant remember off hand. The rear was a standard 83-95 dished BT 50 tooth. The front is 23 tooh but i cant remember the offset. Ill have to check the numbers on paperwork when i get out to the shop tomorrow. I went with Zippers becasue im 30 minutes away and the parts were all high quality PBI and RK Racing, but If you can piece it, it'll be much cheaper for sure.

Lowrider? I don't know, the papers only state Harley Davidson, no specific model. It has Progressive 412 11 inch shocks with the White Bros lowering kit (approx 1 inch?). It's a lowrider now, that's for sure.

Damn this thread makes me want an fxr and keep it simple. Throw some apes on it, lower it a couple inches with stock mag wheels and use it as a stripped down touring bike. Now I just have to save my money and find one around here that the owner doesnt think its dipped in gold

I found this pic on the v-twin forum.

Can anyone identify the fender struts? Im sure they are aftermarket, possibly something that is no longer in production...

Any help is appreciated!

Any more pics of your bike? I'm digging it!

As for those rear strut/shock mount covers, check back a page or two, I think BigMikeOlley has the same ones but in chrome, might ask him. That HA bike looks the business.
