RISE ABOVE ~ Los Angeles, Sat. April 7th 2012

I took a pre-run up there yesturday and checked everything out. The 30 miles freeway should be traffic free (as it's a saturday), well get some weekend warrior rice rocket traffic on the Angeles Crest Hwy. but the road is in extremely good condition (made me wonder where'd that money come from?) and the last 5 miles up the back of Mt. Wilson to the Observatory is your typical tight turns, loose gravel, evil dead, Mr. Toads Wild Ride dangerous abandonment... fun. I'll expect there'll be the typical weekend crowd up there but we should fit in the with pink tank top backpackers and city hippies who like to play walk'about. Also, makde some free shirts.
