tire size

I own a 2001 triumph bonneville that I am bobbing and I want to put a larger tire on the back wheel, how big can I go without problems,anyone know,thanks Battleaxe [tire is R17/130/80]

if i were you i would measure between the swing arms or edges of the fender to see how much clearance you have, you also have to give yourself a couple millimeters from the chain. in a tire size 18 - 130/ 80. the 130 is the width of the tire. its 130 mm. so you will probably need a tape measure with mm, or a conversion table. hope that helps.
