Any decent titling service still around?

So I have a title that is signed over to me from out of state. My state requires a second form signed and notarized for out of state titles, and I didn't have it done. The owner lives 1000 miles away in Florida, and I can't get in touch with him for anything. There any decent titling service still in business out there? I just need it switched to my name without forging a second signature.

Ask your DMV what you need to do as the prior owner is no where to be found. Ask what you will need to do to secure a title if you can find him. Every state has a proceedured. Sometimes its a lien.

Ifi can't get the second signiture I have to title it as a special construction and get it a new Vin number, or so I was told over the phone. Nice people at the DMV...or not. I have family in Florida so worst case it goes in their name, then over to mine after the new title comes in. Just a big hassle, I'd rather give some chump 200 bucks to fix it for me haha.

ITS (international title service) in CA seems to be ok. I've talked to the
Guy a few times there plus i met a dude that has gotten new titles from there a few times. Wasn't crazy cash either.

I'd heard they had really gone down hill in the last year or so. I know they used to be super solid, then the son or something took over and people were stuck waiting months and months with no contact on their title. Maybe it was just a few people, just had me worried about them.

Bike was small, so no VIN verification. Now have a tag good till dec13, and a registration. Will try next year to turn it into a FL title
