longandskinnycb550

got a 76 cb550 for free from my ex's next door neighbor a few years ago. not into cafes so i chopped it in half then realized i had insufficeint fundelations and left it neglected in a dark corner to think about what its done(for a few years). finally came about some cash and ordered up the tc bros uni-hardtail kit forking by frank alien tank and a bunch of engine shit to go thru as well. il keep updating as it goes tryin to bang it out by may-ish. well see abouut that

these are just the shitty phone pics, documenting the whole build with a bettr camera too for anyone who wants to follow/see how im goin about my hardtail install.

I'll be watching. Are you going with a disco theme or is that just something you threw into the title of this thread?

Silly question. Does it matter on a Jap bike if you have the engine tilted so much, since it's not fed from an external tank? I guess as long as you know where the pick up for the oil pump is it's fine, right? Looks great, BTW.

I fitted bike carbs onto my car and the company who made my manifold stressed the carbs must be at the same angle as the bike they came off (around 45degrees). But on the other hand there are guys out there bustin wheelies at mad angles for miles, down runways etc and never seem to have fueling probs. Looking forward to seeing how this unfolds. Hope it runs! :-)
