92 KnightRacer

I bought this 92 Honda 750 nighthawk. I've decided to cafe the bike to the best of my ability. Not spending a crazy amount, in trying to do as much as possible.

The day I bought it. Totally stock.

Took the bars off and lowered the trees a little more then an inch.

Plastics are gone. In need of a new seat and whatnot. Back part of the grime will my chopped off soon.

Thinking about a seat idea so I made a cardboard mock seat. Looks like it will be cool.

Air box is gone. Went with cone filters. Looks so much better.

On to the tank. Had a sizable dent one side and little ones on the other.
This was the big one

After about 10 hours of work. First coat of primer would have been done but I ran out.

The tank is very round and bubbley, but your seat is a bit on the square side. I would round the seat out a bit more to match the tank.

I have seen a lot of cafe style bikes were the rear of the seat has been made out of a metal bowl. Something like that could work for you.

Anyway just my 2 cents.

Well the actual seat I want to use is more rounded. Its just a quick mock out of cardboard its close to the part I want.
