1967 BSA Lightning Build

Well, collected some parts and ran into a load of BSA parts for $100, frame, springer, rear conical wheel for $400. I have been corresponding with TheLakewoodkid2 (Thanks for all the parts and history!) Who let me know about the frame and has been supplying me with those hard to find parts!

So a little history:

-The frame is a Cheetah Engineering Frame for a BSA ( I had planned on chopping it up for a 45 flatty build but I kept putting it off for some reason)
I found out this info from TheLakewoodkid2 on saturday via PM and he also included a pic of the add for the frame!
-Sunday I was at the tavern, throwing back a couple cold barley sodas and got a call from an old buddy that was getting rid of some bsa stuff in the back of the garage, he wanted $100 bucks, and he has the title! So me and my buddy that were throwing back the suds ran to his house (Thanks Steve!) in his mini-van and picked it up. Bottom end, frame, forks, front rear wheels, fiberglass tank, oil tank and some other stuff (pretty beat).
-Today after some work and parts ordering we are about half way done!

Fitted oil tanks too, I have a rear conical 18" I have to lace up, that will be the rear wheel, need to figure what seat will be run.
Also I rebuilt the monobloc carbs.

So this is where she say as of last night.
I'm liking the sporty tank.....

Enjoy more to come!
