SR500 summer ripper

My xs650 is still in need of finishing and i kinda lost interest in it. Got this whipped up in 8 weeks and should be a blast to rip around on for the summer. I hardly have any build pics so il put up all ive got. check it..

this is how i bought it

Engine, wheels, swing arm etc paint

Assembly

Lowered the rear a couple of inches

Finished.

Its super fun to ride and has loads of power. Loud as hell too.

Cheers guys.

Its a '78 too. Dont think theres much difference between the model years though?! I bought the seat/tail section off ebay, someone had hand made it for a sr, I just had to weld on a couple of brackets to mount it to. Got all the electrics mounted to the underneath so its keeps it clean and out of sight. Im pretty syked on it.

Just saw this for the first time as this thread was revived. This bike is great. Excellent taste in tank, seat, color and cleanliness. Well done.
