Bumping this thread. Went back to LA pretty much 1 year later than OG post, drove around for 10 days, didn't see one garage built chop this time, and saw less bikes in general.
Just an observation.

Wonder if this was a cock up by Netflix?

In the real world? The Internet made me believe choppers are trendy and everywhere and over saturated.
I just came back from 2 week vacation in California, drove nearly 1500 miles LA/VEGAS/SANFRAN...

To get a board whilst on Vacation. Prefer it not to be 'minimalist boutique' style. Anyone?

Went to the local Harley dealer (where I know the parts guy) to order some fork tubes. Got all the zodiac etc catalogues out, quick blast...

I know what 60's chops look like, I know what 70's chops look like....

91 sporty hardtailed, we put the motor back in yesterday, using stock rear wheel, stock front and rear sprocket.

iv had the frame hardtailed and changed the battery and oil tank but its all in the smae place just bit nicer looking. yeah im going to cover all the bolts in loctite and make sure its all done up...

getting it in the frame should be easy just wasnt sure if anything needed doing befor we drop it in or do all the pipes and other bits work round the frame?

The only problem with this is we have the forks and wheels attached to the frame. i was just worried that there mite be some pipes or other parts that need to be placed or tucked away befor we dump...
