    I don't get why you would want to change to 12 volts if you have most what is needed for the 2 brush conversion. My last pan I fitted a 6v h4 bulb in the bucket and it was just as bright as any 12v....

    If you keep it 6 volt and my lights are bright i'd rebuild the genny to a 2 brush and run a regulator. Much easier to and not a lot of getting that 3rd brush right.

    I have one on my 59 and with the covers on you can't see any difference, the damper is a bit of a clue on mine. its going to be back in my garage next weekend if you need mounted pics b c s.
