I have DOT5 and I'm using a decent type of clear tubing. Tubing is holding up well although it's stained.

Virginia represent! I assume I'll see this bike in a few weeks.

I'm running a Buell front wheel and Nissin caliper and master cylinder. It uses DOT 5 and I'm pretty certain it's not gona eat up anything.
