No I cut my old swing arm & welded ithe front half of itt to the 2005 swing arm so it was an easy bolt on deal when I was done.

I'm pretty experienced. Been a high end show car & drag car builder all my life & thanks for the help offer. I may pick your brain about some things.

The frame its self is a 1987. I fabbed a 2005 swing arm to fit so I could run the 200 wide tire

My father recently passed so I'm custom building his sporty in his honor.

I have a Fatboy tank I did on my sporty & ran the battery fully under the seat.
