View Full Version : Help with putting 16 inch wheel on my Tr6

I have an 18 inch wheel that I want to keep the hub. I need to put a 16 inch rim on it so that I can use a larger tire and still keep the same height. My question is, can I use a 16 HD rim with HD spokes and will they lace up to the triumph hub? I have seen this done but didn't know what kind of rim I should get. If someone has done this please email me and let me know.

i have a triumph hub laced to a 16 inch wheel.

find yourself a 16 inch,4 inch wide HD rim.
basically, the rims they used on late knucks, pans, shovelheads.
there is a guy on ebay that sells spoke kits for a good price.
i will go find his info and post it here for you.
