Howdy Folks,

Steve here, aka Elpolacko from other boards around the web. I own a hot rod shop in Phoenix and do all sorts of metal fabrication.

Bike stuff: I own a 1957 Triumph and a 1959 Sportster and have been building bikes and parts for friends for a few years.

Personal stuff,

And the other stuff I have either built or been involved in.

I build machine tools for sheet metal shaping, stamping and forming. Been building proper frames and suspensions for hot rods and customs for over 20 years.

Hey all
New join from Rancho Cucamonga California
2011 Dyna

I'm working on getting a 94 Sportster from my cousin. I was planning on bobbing the bike. I'm not too sure if it's worth it. Any feedback?

I'm wrestling with my conscious a bit here - He had a stroke in Oct. 2010. He's partially paralized.I had his bike last year, trying to sell it for him. Didn't get any serious buyers and I couldn't afford it then so I took it back to him.

He lost his wife of 26 years to cancer last August.

And the day before I was going to call him to hatch my "plan" on buying it - he calls me and tells me his dad just passed away! ( this past Friday)

I don't have the nerve to ask him to sell me his Sportster.

01-12-2012, 4:00 PM
What up dudes, got on a month ago and just been lurking. I have a cb360 my buddy gave me that needs a new master cylinder and fuel lines. Probably going to try and cafe it out and sell it to the hipsters for some money toward a long ride HD. Also have a 67 Tr 7rv with a bolt on plunger frame, that just died on me after a 120 mile ride through the Berkeley hills. Towing it to the shop today to figure out what the problem is. Hope to have it running by the end of the day. If anyone's got some troubleshooting ideas on the Triumph, I'm all ears.

01-12-2012, 6:58 PM
I'm Wren, from Columbus Ohio! I made this a long time ago but never touched it but I'm back..

cant wait to waste more of my life on the internet here!

I have a couple builds I'm looking forward to sharing. Yamaha SR500 flat track and a little cl350 custom.

01-13-2012, 8:43 AM

Hey guys, I'm new here and I have joined many different forums for many different reasons and The welcome E-mail here is by FAR the best one yet. Glad to be here. I have a few bikes all current works in progress

'85 Honda rebel "bobbed"

'72 DT2 getting it street legal for next season.

'79 XS 650 I just picked up and have to do a few things to pass inspection here in NYC

01-14-2012, 6:02 PM
Austin, TX - started life as an 09 xl1200n - Have had this one 21 months so far and have racked up 26k miles - Now that she's broken in I can get to that motor work I've planned since day 1.

This is how she stands as of today, only a few bolt ons, most everything fabricated by myself...

01-15-2012, 5:57 PM
Nice work man. Did you fab the bars also?

01-15-2012, 7:06 PM
Naw, they're Biltwell Windows...

01-15-2012, 7:07 PM
I did do the internal throttle though...
The whole front is gonna be the next set of changes, relo the speedo, new light mount and new riserless bars, gonna shoot a drawing over to zombieperformance.com and see what we can come up with...

01-15-2012, 7:15 PM
I knew I saw them somewhere. Still the bike looks badass. Is the shifter mounted somewhere in the middle that I am missing or just to the motor at the bottom? I love the look of it.

01-16-2012, 7:28 PM
Sperbs here from southeastern WI, new to the cult but not to choppers thanks to my old school biker of a father and his vast collection of Easyrider mags. Currently to broke to afford a bike so i'm spending all my time on here till I take care of that little detail.

01-17-2012, 2:31 PM
New guy. SW Ontario. Cool forum. :cheersmate:

New from Colorado. Been a member on JJ for a while, joined here and started spending time lurking the threads and dig it here as well. Have a 84 shovel and 73 ironhead and plan on redoing both this winter but cash and time might allow one. Here are pictures of the bikes.

The ironhead I bought last winter and built quick so I could ride during the summer, lots of plans to finish it this winter

Here is the only pic I have of my shovel on my computer. Not done in this pic but you get the idea.hopefully make lots of changes to this one too before summer. Will post the finished bike when i have time to take some pics.

Will start a thread for the builds soon.

01-19-2012, 12:31 PM

OK, here is a quick no bullshit story. I'm a photographer on US129 (The Dragon) in Tennessee. So last year in October I was jacking around and did a google image search and found some of my work/photos had been lifted. I won't name the group because I thought it was funny as Hell ! Anyway, because of that bunch of.........Bastards is how I found Chop Cult. I ride a mostly stock Old School looking 96 Sporty. Oh'yeah, shameless plug, www.shop667productions.com

Been lurking here for close on two years so thought it high time to introduce myself.
I`m Dan, an englishman living in Sweden. Been into bikes since I was a teenager (long time ago ) now into my very first build, a `71 Triumph t120r. I`ll be starting a build thread of my own soon.
Love this site. Some very inspiring builds here and some very talented and helpful people.

01-22-2012, 4:42 PM
Greatings from Chicago,
Been browsing the sight for info and doing some business on the classifieds for about a month... Figured I should introduce myself. Only been riding for a couple of years... but haven't been able to leave well enough alone on any of my bikes... which has eventually lead me here. About to start my first ground up build. Pretty much have zero experience, so any Chicago locals who have any wisdom on building, or getting involved, that they want to share feel free to PM me.

01-23-2012, 1:46 AM
Hello from Norway...
I have built some cafès, chops and racecars over the past 20 years. Today i have my hands full with my wife and 3 kids (from 2 - 8 yrs), but im working on a Sporty (and a -55 Volkswagen bug for race car ) at the moment.

01-23-2012, 10:57 AM
Hey all, I'm Darien living in Boynton Beach Florida.

New to the site and building, for the most part. Currently working on a 1980 xs650 chopper build. Still in the process of accumulating parts, but it's coming along. Slowly, but surely! My brother and I share a warehouse space in Lake Worth that we do all the work in. Be prepared to yell at me for stupid questions!

Here's some of the pieces to the puzzle...

Engine (paid $100 for it...and it runs):
http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/396031_3022813572022_1313212912_3260529_1210085251 _n.jpg
http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/386735_2678874333756_1313212912_3097259_1237756539 _n.jpg

Frame with TC Bros hardtail and 18" rear XS wheel from eBay:
http://hphotos-iad1.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/400579_2907914619620_1313212912_3190581_304661724_ n.jpg

Also have some re-jetted and nicely cleaned out carbs and some other miscellaneous pieces not pictures. My end goal as of now is to do something really simple and straight forward for my first go at it. Probably a simple peanut tank, 21" front wheel on a 35mm HD front end. Rear brake only. I'd like to keep this build simple and not get too ahead of myself and risk fucking something up big. Hopefully have it done by early summer and by winter start on a bigger project...

Thanks for reading! Comments/criticism welcome!

01-23-2012, 11:19 AM
I'm Cike from near Dayton Ohio. This looks like the kinda place i've been looking for. Seems like people here are actually making stuff for their bikes instead of just buying bolt-ons. Going to be starting a thread on my 87 softail project, I think it's getting named Dogsled, so keep an eye out and feel free to offer opinions good or bad

01-23-2012, 8:21 PM
Name is Russell. In Maryland. Ride a Titan Softail, and saving my lunch money to build a rigid. Couple more weeks, and I'll have enough for a roller.

Here is my bike. '95 Titan Gecko. 96" S&S/5-speed.

I tried to register here last year, but I think it was canceled. Got the pending email, but no more. YThen I just tried again and my email was free. Oh well. :cheersmate:

01-27-2012, 2:17 PM
hello everyone, been lurking here a couple years but finially decided to hit the signup button. Love all the stuff people build and everyone's attitudes on the site.

The wife and I both ride, she has a 05 sporty and I got an 06 v-rod. I don't think the v-rod is a favored bike on this site but I like it and that all that matters to me. I also have a 79 GS750 that a buddy gave me for free for helping him move. thats my project bike and why I am here.

01-27-2012, 6:35 PM

Hey gang, Q here coming at ya from Port Orange Florida. I live a 5 minute bike ride from the Last Resort in Daytona, though I've never been a patron.

Living in FL has advantages, like a longer riding season and plenty of places that will change a tire. I grew up on the west coast and have ridden since I was 8. I only know a few bikers as I haven't ridden since 99' when I sold my 74XL, but I just got a new to me 94XL and I'm back at it.

Good to be here.

01-29-2012, 8:39 PM
Hey guys. Im Hutch and I live in Des Moines. I ride a Evo Big Twin chopper. I ride and wrench on a weekly basis with my brother Adam and he's teaching me all the tricks you need to learn when dealing with choppers. Pretty stoked to be a part of this forum. Cheers.

Hi my names Nick and i'm a motorcycle-holic. I'm 25 and a CAD Drafter/Designer for a Utility Trailer Manufacturer. I'm currently building a 82 cm450e and making it into a "flat tracker" style street/dual sport bike. The bike runs great but looks like a turd....but some paint and custom tail frame should fix that...hopefully.

02-03-2012, 5:13 PM
It's about time I stop lurking and reading, and start PARTICIPATING!

I've been reading this forum for at least a year and finally sacked up and joined about 6 months ago!

Now i finally have a whole weekend off and i decided to start it off right here.

I've been riding motorcycles since I was 11 years old. Started with dirt bikes and my first street bike when I was 15.

This love affair started when I was 5 or 6 watching the old man build his 1959 Panhead.
It wasn't his first, but it was the first of many I would see start life as a basket case in our living room. Many of which I would eventually help build.
I come from biker stock, third generation in fact.
My grand father flew B-17's and was one of the lucky few who made it back from the "Thousand Plane" bomber run on the Messerschmidt factory. When he came home from WWII He promptly bought a surplus Flathead. The family places all blame squarely on his shoulders for giving us all a serious case of what has been dubbed "Motorpsychosis". I personally have not only learned to live with this affliction but I thrive on it.

I am currently living in West Palm Beach, Florida and working at a Machine shop building aerospace and submersible parts.

When time permits I have been gathering parts for my next build and cluttering up my own living room with enough crap to build two bikes.

I have decided to get started on my next project this week end. It's going to be a rigid frame Evo, sort of a tribute to the old board trackers.
Custom tanks, 21" front and rear wheels, Leaf spring front end, kind of minimalist.

Any how that's enough about me.

02-03-2012, 5:20 PM
such a kick ass site. im really awful at sitting here for hours and reading the forums and never saying anything to anyone.

25 female from houston. sporty 48 is my horse of choice. looking for new folks to ride with in the area!

Hi all figure I better do the right thing and bust a intro out. Im a long time member of the HAMB and JJ alot of great guys and good info!. Im putting back together a 68 Big twin Long chop its a surviver bike from 68 32" over girder. Im putting a 71 Shovel in it the only upgrades are a 6 speed tranny cause put alot of highway mile on my bikes. Im gonna ride the shit out of it cant wait. Ive only ridden hardtails and thats all I'll ever own. I live in 8th worse town to live in Rockford Ill well thats were I park my bike atleast. I wanted a long bike for along long time but never found the right one. Then I came across the one I own now I told the owner I better not sit on it or Ill want to haver her. Like some dumb ass I sat on it looked over the bars past the light saw the wheel way out there. HOOKED hooked hooked pure love I was told it wasnt for sale. I dreamed about that bike for along time figured I was never gonna have it. Then one day my best bro call and said "your dream is for sale or trade"....Im a broke ass like most these days. So I went down to the bike shop and see what kinda deal I can get. Most will say Im "Fed" in the head for the trade I made. It was a good running HD bobber magazine bike for the stripped out roller. Its mine all mine now and dont give a shit what anyone says!!!!! I try to load come pix when I get a chance

02-04-2012, 1:50 PM

Hey, I am Mark and I have been lurking for about 6 months. Awesome site with a ton of great info. I picked up a rigid shovel last year and have been mulling around with a 1200S in a smokin gun for what seems like forever. I am finally buckling down and finish the damn thing.

02-07-2012, 10:45 AM
Hi there, my names Dan, i'm from a little city in the UK called Lincoln.

Posting on here to try and be part of such a great community which i think spreads worldwide.

I love bikes.....mainly Chops, Bobbers, Flat Trackers, Cafe Racers, Brat style etc, but i do like my sportsbikes aswell.
Not really too kean on the latest 1 litre hyper bikes, but love 80's / ealy 90's sports bikes for sure.

Got a GS550 bobber, which is almost complete......just a few jobs to finish off.

Our scene in the UK is now where near as big as what goes on in the USA, but its getting bigger for sure.
Just a shame we dont have dedicated sites as this to post on.

Anyhow.......hello :cheersmate:

Hey Guys, my names Pete I live in NY (Long Island) and spend a lot of time in LA (SFV). I ride a stripped down rat 84 evo electraglide on the east coast. Gathering parts to do a frame swap next winter. Just picked up a cone shovel stroker in a rigid frame on the west coast. Not sure what I'm gonna do with that one yet, probably tear into it after the evo. Cool Site!!!

Hi I'm Rob, and I've been living, wrenching, and riding an S40 ratbob around Westside L.A. for the last four years. Broke as a joke with paying off student loans and working a shit-pay job as a Production Assistant but I've been slowly gathering up tools and parts and just recently bought my first mini-lift and flux core welder. I feel my first real project coming up around the corner. :D Thanks in advance for the advice and inspiration!

Hey guys. Like most I've been lurking around and finally bit the bullet and signed up. I learnt to ride on an old DT250 before I could even pedal a bicycle. I mostly have stuck to the mild custom Harley stuff. I blew my back out a couple of years ago and had to give up riding until it heals. If I didn't the doc's said I would never walk again let alone ride. I've been building a new bike since. Sorry it is a softail - the spirit is willing but the flesh isn't.
Other then that I manage a plumbing shop during the day and write at night and look forward to getting back in the wind this summer.

02-15-2012, 2:22 PM
]People call me Toddy i'm from England, been into bikes for over 30 years, mainly into chops bobbers. not much else to say realy...

02-15-2012, 2:59 PM
Been stalk'n on here awhile, finally bit the bullet. Got my first Ironhead at 17, 26 now and addictted to bikes. Sell alot of cb750s and parts, im a honda man, got a pretty full stable 40+ bikes, theres even three in the living room, my wife is somewhat understanding, lol

02-15-2012, 3:25 PM
My name's Josh. I've been lurkin on CC for a while but finally pulled the trigger and joined. I moved to Colorado a couple years back from the East coast and I've been looking for roads to ride and party to crash. I run a xs650 and a Night train, that I'm currently putting my $ into and making my own. Hit me up if you're near the front-range.

02-15-2012, 5:49 PM
Hey all,
My name is Mike. I'm one of those lurker guys who checks out the tech articles and browses the Classifieds. I decided to pull the trigger and join up.
I've been accused of being a greaser...although I'm not as savvy on the modifications as I'd like. I am still rebuilding my tool supply after my last divorce...and hoping to move into a house this summer with two 2-car garages to supply my shop/man-cave needs. I've always been more of an "idea man" but hoping to put more grinder to steel in the near future.
I recently sold my 1960 Impala 4-dr and focus my attention to my 2 year old and my 2003 XL1200C.
My name originates from when I was riding my bike from Terre Haute, IN to Indianapolis through an electrical storm with ape-hangers and nearly was hit a couple times. A great irony considering I was in the military for electronics and am currently a low-voltage tech.
Anyhow, I hope to learn more, see some awesome builds and perhaps contribute at some point.

My names Danny, Im from California, South Bay to be more specific. I Currently have three bikes in my stable: I have a 78 KZ750 with a mild Cafe kinda look . Theres a pic of the KZ that i posted as my profile pic.
i also have another kz project bike on the back-burner that will eventually get turned into a skinny lil chopper.
But my current project is a 69 xlh, the frame was chopped by Slim of Slims Fab. and he did a hell of a job. its stretched 6 inches back with another six inches added to the downtubes to achieve the low stance i wanted without having to add rake or shortening my forks. slim featured it on his blog a few months back.
as soon as i can i will start a thread with the build up of the bike with some pics.

02-17-2012, 7:05 AM
what's up Chop Cult! i'm new here but been around scooters forever. my current ride is a badass lil 454 Kaw. i have a couple '81 KZ 1000's that i wanna chop. i have 1 K model and 1 J model. IBM led me to this site, i like it. you guys are fuckin nuts! i'm diggin it.

02-17-2012, 11:04 AM
I just realized that I did not do a proper intro here. Mea Culpa.

My name is Pete and I am in Bluffton, SC. I currently have 2000 Buell X1 that I am in the process of chopping. I work out of my garage typically after reading some bedtime stories and putting my kids to bed.

Here is the current state of my project. Picked her up for 2 grand, hopefully will be selling a lot of take offs on eBay to fund the new bits she needs.

The main goal is to build a bike that gets ridden. A lot. Right now I am planning on dropping the motor in a 0-0-35degree Paughco rigid frame. I am planning on using the Buell forks, for now at least. I want to run skinny dual 19's or 21's, one for the look, and two for rideable ground clearance. Undecided on tank, but I like the idea of narrow window bars and a solo seat like the LePera Baron.

The PO removed all the EFI stuff and put on a Keihn carb, so I got that going for me.

I am definitely an amateur at this. I am learning to weld, I don't have a lathe or big equipment like that, etc.

I am here to learn and hopefully I can add back by documenting my build. If you see me post that I am doing something stupid or dangerous, please call me out. I can take it. I want my stuff right.

02-17-2012, 9:43 PM
My name is Jesse, I'm out of Vermont, I have a 73 Ironhead that I am constantly working on and will never be done. I usually ride alone, because the only other guy I know who rides has a work schedule as busy as mine. I am part owner of Jade Lotus tattoo and piercing (JadeLotusVt.com).

02-18-2012, 3:12 AM

Hey everyone, name is John and I'm from Des Moines, Ia. I'm pretty new to the chop scene, actually I'm new to bikes in general as I only started riding a couple years ago on a KLX650. I have a friend that builds choppers on the side and I'm learning from him as much as I can in preparation to build my own bike. I'm learning to weld, build frames, the whole nine. I'll be picking up a bike to start with, hopefully within the next few weeks.

My plans are to build a soft tail as I've had way too many back injuries to tolerate a rigid, but overall it'll be similar to this one we're building right now. My other friend owns this one but he's about my size and considering it started life as a Sportster it seems to be about perfect. Sorry, I'm a fat ass.

Born in Iceland, educated in California, started my working life in Milan, Italy then lived for years in New York but been in Stockholm, Sweden for the last 11 years.

Been riding Motorcycles since 1988, started with Vespas in Italy, moved onto Enduros, bought myself a Yamaha Virago 1100 and a Suzuki GSXF 750 the summer I turned 19.

Sold a pretty much stock 1990 Harley Davidson XLH 883 in the fall of 2011 after having had it for about 4 years, it did have 1200 jugs and I had stripped a whole lot of "live to ride" stuff off it and tore it down to the frame for a repaint.

This january I gotmyself a new ride, a softail custom frame built here in Sweden, 120" Merch Stage III engine, 5 gear Jim's transmission, Yamaha R1 backswing and front with Öhlins forks and Brembo brakes, according to the company that blueprinted the engine ( Mectec in Kalix ) the front cylinder turns out 74 horses and the back 75.5, on the Dyno it turns out around 118 horses on the back wheel and 183 newton meters in torque.....

I will be putting my own touch on this bike and while doing that I do have a Ducati 2003 S4 Monster in the garage as well

Can't wait for spring to take it out for a ride, everything is covered with snow here and right now it's just sitting in my garage, kinda like having a naked Victoria's Secrets model in your bedroom while being stuck on the phone with your mom.....

Just wanted to say hi from Suicide Clutch Apparel Co. My name is Arturo Voodoo and our company is out of East Peoria, Illinois. We do biker t-shirts and posters, and other cool shit. We're pretty darn new but we love to design shirts and shoot the shit with everyone. We are very easy to speak with and if you would like to get to know us more drop us a line and we will chat. Don't get pissed if we don't get right back to you because we still work other jobs to take care of our shit and hope someday we can do well enough to run SCA full time. So please don't be strangers because we have no ego's or attitudes and we seem to learn more from the hard working folks we meet then anything else we come across in this industry. So take care and we hope your builds are going great and ride safe.

Hope to learn some from all the people on this forum.

02-23-2012, 8:10 PM
hello all im from DFW picking up a GS450 that I want to bob as my 1st project bike. im more of a Harley and BSA guy but this bike is in great shape and cheap. I'm here to lean form ya"ll my biggest task in bobbing this bike is going to be figuring out a double seat but staying true to the look I want. For some reason my wife wants to be seen on the back of a bike with me.
any suggestions would be welocme, Dont know if i should do something with a badlander seat or put a second traditional seal on the fender like they did in Europe back in day.

I know there are other bobbed GS's seen a few on here but if yall know of more let me know where to peek at them at

02-24-2012, 8:22 AM

My name is Joe "T-Rat" Counts, live in Knoxville Tennessee, I have been riding since I was 12. I am now 67. I own a 1996 Yamaha Royal Star and I am building a 1975 Yamaha XS650 bobber. This will be my second build. I have owned several choppers and bobbers thru the years, mostly Triumphs and Harleys. First build was a Honda Shadow 1100. I wanted to see if I could make a hardtail work with a shaft drive. It was built on a custom hard tail frame that I got off of ebay. I kept the shaft drive and it worked out ok, but I learned a lot of what to do and not to do on that build that I am employing in this build. There is a lot of good info on this forum that has helped already and I'm sure I will be leaning on you guys alot as the build progresses!

02-26-2012, 10:38 AM
Hey I'm new here. I created an account but could never get back in. Anyway, I live in Southern Maryland, Own XsSpeed Choppers (a part-time shop), wrote for The Horse for 10 years (resigned last year), have written a few articles for LowSide mag, play in 2 bands and have a couple big dogs.

Been a creeper for a while, finally registered. I-94 & I-69 interchange in Michigan. Two '59 Pans and a '76 "Shovelhead/TwinCam". Maintenance man at a brewery. Lots of good stuff here.

02-29-2012, 7:53 PM
I ride a 2007 Honda VTX 1300S bagger. I picked up a 2002 VTX 1800R bobber last fall for a pretty good price. I'm planning to turn it into a classic chopper -- long in the front and fat in the back. I've been splitting my time between buying stuff off of eBay which was removed to create the bobber (rear brake, exhausts, side covers, etc), and researching how to build a chopper.

I came across this site from a link on Club Chopper.

I always wanted to join a cult. Where do I get the kool-aide?

03-01-2012, 9:47 AM
Nice place you got here.

03-01-2012, 7:06 PM

New guy from north Texas here, been tearing shit up for a few years now.

03-02-2012, 12:06 PM
Hey all! Been lurkin' about for a bit and finally decided to join up. I am a garage builder that currently has 2 projects; a 1958 Triumph 3ta (350cc) and a 1970 Honda CL350. Tramp is in almost less than basket-case shape (frame, engine, wheels, and little more). I have been tryin' for a few years to get enough parts scrounged together to at least get the ol' beast to cough on it's own, but there ain't enough there, so it's a benchwarmer. My other project is a '71 CL350 Honda that I have been hackin' and slashin' on for the past year. Wanna hard-tail it, but right now it's strutted in the rear with some "custom" bars of my making, and not much else. A little paint for ideas, that's about it. Anyway. Here is my intro post. I'll post pics later when I get 'em loaded to the bucket site.

**** Edit 03/04/12 ****

Realized this morning that I put my intro in the WRONG FRIGGIN' SPOT! Thanks Mr. Moderator for squaring me away!

Hello everyone JOe GOnzales here.

I have been on and off the site for a little while and have spent most of my time in the classifieds.

Alittle about me:
I`m usually broke (thanks classifieds)
I have no bike ( but I`m working on it)
I work to much
and I `am stationed overseas with the Marines so if I hit you up for something you have for sale don`t freak out and think it`s a scam.

That is all

Hello ladies and gents!

Name's Trusty, I'm on chop cult because I obsess about bikes.

I'm trying to help some builders sell bikes too, support the scene, it's a not for profit idea, just trying to get good bikes to good homes ; )

Nice to be here, Chop Cult is a gift, away from the high and mighty of Jockey Journal and such...much appreciated!

Man , glad i stumbled across this site . My names Kevin and live in Texas right ouside of Galveston . I currently own a 54 pan/shovel which is my most Favorite ride . I also have an Evo and 2 Twin cams that the Ole Lady rides with me on . I've been around bikes and cars since i was a wee kid and this shit runs thick through my veins. I've had several old shovels and lots of dirt bikes and old cars. I finally had to give up the dirt bikes cuz my body just dont take the abuse like it used to and i'm hoping i can ride till they put me in the ground. If there is any of you folks ever down this way give me a shout and we can get together for a ride and a beer....

What's up guys my name is Scott and I just moved to West Whittier/Pico Rivera from Brea. I've been lurking for a while and decided I need to hop in to try and get my bike up and running soon. She's a 81 Ironhead that has been a bitter sweet thorn in my side, my uncle passed and it was willed to me. I know his devilish sense of humor has a grasp on it knowing I'm new to working on bikes so it gives me trouble and doesn't want to stay running. I'm stoked to meet some new people on here and hopefully get some help and advice on how I can get back on the road.

Hello folks; my name's Joe but I'll answer to Dirty Vegas (don't ask), Whistler, Scratch, or 'hey, you."
I live in north western Alabama, born and raised in Western West Virginia and, am slowly moving to Daytona Florida. I'm currently working on modding out an 883 low, and am in a constant state of anxiety about what to do with the front end. Waiting in the wings I have a shovel head, what's left of my pan head, and a cl360.
I try to do most of my own work, but there's a lot of people here that know way more than I do, so I signed up for the encyclopedic amount of knowledge, and to find out where all the good parties are...

Hey everyone,

Been on CC for a while but I don't post much since I have been deployed for the last year. Any how I may have done this before but I can not remember so I will just do it agian!. As for my ride, i got a 98 Sportster Sport that i got on a steal after my last deployment. Currently its back in the States waiting to be finished. I hardtailed it last winter of 2010 before I left. I also got a springer for it from here of course. I have also chopped the cam cover and stuff. I would post pics but the Department of Defense frowns on thumb drives and this is the only internet I got for a few more weeks.

Hello Chop Cult. I'm Nick. I live in DC. I like to party, I like to ride, and sometimes I even like the internets. Here is my first and current project, a 94 1200 Sportster the day I brought it home about two months ago. I was, and still am, pretty excited about the airbrushed desert scene tank. I will post some more updated photos when I get her back together.

I browse often, but home ownership keeps me from lurking the web as much as I used to. Look forward to meeting / riding with some of you.

03-10-2012, 2:47 PM
been lurking for a while. posted some before and after pics so i figured i would say hi from nashville.

03-11-2012, 12:01 AM
Been here for more than a few days. I have had the same 1972 650 triumph for 21years. Owned more than a few other triumphs. I had the shovel head i had always wanted. It loved to go as far away from home as I cared to ride. I swear to god the minute I turned around to head home it would die. In between there has been a Ducati or two, couple of late model harley riders, and a few odd balls.
My New project is a 2007 1200 sportster that has been hard tailed. It was running (not really ridable) when it came home. After a complete tear down, junkyard wiring harness rewire, exhaust remount(imagine every issue you have ever read about a efi rubber mount hard tail bike) it is coming back together.
I hope to add some useable tech, and look forward to learning something new.

03-11-2012, 5:48 PM
Been diggin around the site for awhile and figured I might aswell register and start posting up. My work in progress is a 1985 Kawasaki ZN700 LTD shaft drive.....

03-13-2012, 8:14 PM
New here from putnam county NY, been working on a '10 Xbones for the last few months on and off, most recently stuck a nightster tank on it and I'm trying to get it all finished before the real nice weather gets here. Chopped rear fender, slimmer 12" apes, spring solo seat, relocated tailight/plate, etc. etc. etc.

The new tank should work well when it's back on the road, just have to finish up the fuel pump wiring and I'm waiting on a longer fuel line from HD. Relocated the speedometer and ignition switch out of the way, Hopefully this weekend it'll be up and running again.

Couple of shitty pics of the mock-up, still needs a re-paint:

Lars from Sweden. Bought a '91 sporty last fall and been working on it over the winter.

http://www.marauderblue.com/4000%20to%204999/pages/4318.htmHowdy! I found this site while looking for parts on Google. Seems like a nice way to continue wrenching on my bike.

I live in Virginia (work in DC) for the past 2 years, but from California. (I miss the weather already) I have a Suzi VZ800 Marauder that I got as a birthday present from my dad back in 2002. I've always kept doing something on it. Now I'm looking to change the wheels to spokes. (The rarest bike out there is a stock one)

So throw stuff at me if it'll help. This is my 7th bike and I've always wrenched on them. My previous bikes include a CB500T, XS400 and a FZ600R. Ridden a few dirt as well. Love the enduros.

03-22-2012, 9:56 PM
Old fart, new guy to the forum. No appreciable skills, unless farting is considered a skill. I currently ride an old (1983) Goldwing, which is my only my second bike and the first in 25 years. Yeah, I know..... Call it a midlife crisis, but I have a serious jonesing for a chop. I'm wishing at this point I would have paid more attention in shop class.

Maybe I can still learn.

03-23-2012, 3:05 AM

I live in Okatee SC and ride an '80 xlh which is currently undergoing a rewire. the ironhead has just been rebuilt after splitting a case a few months back. Glad to find a site with a lot of good info.

Hi all,shovel80 here.I joined a while back after lurking a while.Figured it was time for an intro. My daily rider is an 80" Evo Softail and I'm almost done with my 98" Shovelhead that I've had for 32 years.

03-26-2012, 5:03 PM

I'm Adam currently (and proudly) residing in Minneapolis, MN.

I'll be honest, most of the things I know about two wheels I've learned the hard-way.

I'm not the type to sit and learn the right terminology, or cool slang for things. So I'm pretty bad at the internet forum thing.

Current ride is a 96ci S&S crammed into a one-off hardtail frame. It's 6-speeds of fuck yeah. she's temperamental as fuck.

In true Midwest form, I won't say much.

Sorry the picture isn't the best; it was too nice not to be on it:

03-27-2012, 1:09 PM
been lurking awhile. riding a couple of baggers as much as possible.im in the nw corner of indiana about an hour or so outside of chicago. i might not have much to post, but im learning alot. thanks.

03-28-2012, 10:02 PM
I'm Marty, a bit of an ex-patriot. New to bikes. I am currently tearing down an '83 Honda Magna vf750c with the goal of turning it into something low and black. It was free, and after some google research I decided it wasn't too bad a bike to make something out of. But, totally new. Any advice on where to go from here (here: staring at a half torn apart bike) would be greatly appreciated via PM.

Scouts out.

03-29-2012, 5:16 AM
Hey, I'm Guitarman, been riding since I was 10, got my first on road at 16, a 1981 CB650, and at 18 found a 1987 883 hugger in boxes for 800 bucks, been riding that ever since, 30 now.

Been on here for a bit, didn't realize there was an intro forum so here's mine. I live about an hour south of Portland, OR. Been riding for a while, used to have a '78 CB550 that I fixed up and rode for years. Here's my '93 883 Deluxe as it sits after finished painting and other stuff last weekend. Gonna be changing the seat, bars, ac, pipes, taillight, ect...

Hello everyone My name is Jeremy but all my friends call me Catfish. I am in Indiana and built my xs650 chop about 7 years ago in a spare bedroom in the house. I think this is the 5th incarnation of the bike. I posted a few pics on the "before and After" thread of all of the changes it has had over the years. The most recent change is the Girder and Z-Bars. I ride it as much as the Indiana weather allows.

03-29-2012, 2:21 PM
Im a 40yo ginger who gets a boner for home built chops. Cant spell for shit. I built my honda 12 yrs ago. Not the style you guys dig but I like it and its a blast. The ride home from work was as thrilling as the test ride long ago. Im a welder and I like to pinstripe but im shit compared to the stuff I see here. If I get the balls I will post in the art thread. Houston Tx peeps hollah. Im in Sugarland Tx. R.u.b hell. Thanks.

03-29-2012, 7:26 PM

Just signed up so thought I would introduce myself! Recently moved to Canada so thought this would be awesome to meet some other like minded riders and source parts etc.

Anyway I'm Scotty, British lad now out of Toronto. Been riding all my life. Just picked up a 2001 1200 Sporty a couple weeks ago, already threw a set of Biltwell Zeds and Banana Seat on it and threw a whole lot more in the bin! Got some short shocks on the way and gonna ruin the paint this weekend. LOVE it!

See you out there. Cheers!

03-30-2012, 7:12 PM
Hello, My name is Jason and always wanted a bobber chopper. I was wanting a Kraft tech frame with ss motor and build it like this till tonight, I actually talked to a local bike builder and he says if I buy a rigid, the back lower chainstays will break because of no shocks and to fatigue. I dont want to be riding and it breaks on me. Now my dream has been dashed. Should i start looking for a swingarm bike? :banghead:

Yes this came from american classic motors but no i m not buying from them because it has a revtech motor in it.

04-01-2012, 9:15 PM
hey new to the site. riding here in north carolina, greenville area. been lurking here for a while looking forward to being a part of the cult, ive already had some good dealings with some members. currently riding a sporty but as time goes who knows.

04-02-2012, 2:24 PM
Howdy All,
I build custom BMW bikes and sidecars. I'm getting ready to build a rigid frame chopper out of a 70's BMW. Here is some of the stuff I am building and have built.

I've doing this for 25 years and have no problem sharing anything stuck in the space between my ears.

04-03-2012, 7:54 AM

Have been looking for a new motorcycle-related time killer lately as work's been a little slow.

Some of you may know me from other sites or, gasp!, real life.

I've been riding motorcycles for over 30 years and building and wrenching for about 20. Live in NYC for most of my adult life where I had a workshop in Bushwick. About six years ago I moved to Philadelphia and started a new workshop.

I have about nine bikes. All HDs and brits except for one '75 Honda CB400F. I ride all the runners regularly. My main bike, a panhead/shovelhead mutt built from parts about fifteen years ago has taken em to almost every state in the country. I have over 140K miles on this bike and still ride it.

I'm into tech almost exclusively. My social interest in motorcycles amounts to hanging at the shop with my friends actually building shit and riding places with those same people. Yes, we have a blog about it, but it's almost ALL tech. Zero profiling. No food or party pics. I wouldn't be fooling anyone trying to profile anyway. . . not cool enough and don't look the part.

Plenty of tech articles here;

Thanks for having me.

04-03-2012, 7:57 PM
Names Mister...been lurking around the board for around a year now soaking up build ideas and random information. In the process now of putting together a 1203 Thunderstorm based Flyrite bike. Has been a work in progress since I returned from Trashcanistan last fall. Just now getting the time to wrench on it and have acquired many great parts from members here on CC. Thanks.

With that said, I will compile my build photos once it gets interesting, and start a thread. I imagine it will be soon as I am tired of walking around my roller as it sits in my dining room. I ride out of Columbus, Ohio so if you ever find yourself traveling through, I'm always game to ride.

04-03-2012, 8:22 PM
I've been hanging around here for a bit, and never got around to doing an introduction. I'm in the middle of getting tattooed so this seems like a good time. My name is Jason, I'm a metal fabricator by trade, and have been building and riding for about twenty years. Most of my experience is with old British , mainly Triumphs. I picked up my first v-twin almost a year ago, and I'm in the process of cleaning it up. So, I guess that pretty much sums it up.

04-03-2012, 10:29 PM
I'm here to kick ass and build bikes. And I'm all out of ass.

04-03-2012, 11:23 PM
I've been riding for 12 years, wrenching on H-D's and customs professionally in a couple of custom shops and a dealership for about 10. Ride a chopped '04 XL, and have 2 more Sportster projects in the works. Just always looking for new ideas and tricks from other "old-school" minded chop freaks. Also, always interested in meeting up and hitting the streets with other riders in my area (Henderson/Vegas).

04-04-2012, 7:26 AM
What's up guys! I've been a lurker for a few weeks and signed up the other day so I could get in touch with a member about a classified ad. Picked up some new t-bars for my '00 Shadow VLX that I'm excited about. I've been cruising around in some threads and seeing some amazing and inspiring work. Love it.

Anyway, here's a picture of my bike I took last summer. It's basically bone stock right now but like I said, t-bars are on the way. I'm still going back and forth on cutting the rear fender off and putting a smaller form fitting fender on. I'd like to keep the bike comfortable for longer rides but at the same time make it look rad.

Anyway, pumped to be here! This is the best motorcycle board I've found so far.

I'm Luke, and I'm out of Huntington Beach, California. I started riding because I was sick of sitting in traffic... also, I was free of the female shackles that kept me from doing anything my heart desired. I bought "Free Bird," an 86 VT700 Shadow, two years ago and haven't looked back. She changed my life in more ways than I thought possible, and although she's since been replaced by my 2010 1300 Honda Interstate, she hasn't been forgotten. I started putting an ad together to release her back into the world, when my buddy Joe introduced me to the world of chopping. So, I held onto my title, and began stripping her down... Enter Chopcult.

I'm laid back outside of work, and I love to ride and meet colorful people. My first ride through this forum was the perfect introduction to this new world. Although I nearly died from hypothermia after riding for 5 hours in the gushing rain (Bacon Run 2012), I was inspired by what I experienced and saw (not the flaming cock nor the bacon vodka... but rather, the camaradarie, the beautiful bikes, and the awesome ride). I'm looking forward to showing off Free Bird when I figure out what the hell I'm gonna do with her, and I'm looking forward to the next one!

I actually owned this bike about 5 years ago. Sold it to a friend. He offered to sell it back to me last fall for half what he paid me. He put about 10,000 miles on it (for a total of 15,000 now). When I sold it to him and bought it back it was all factory yellow and bone stock. In the past two weeks I morphed it into what you see here. I have diffent bars in the works. Great site and enjoy snooping around and seeing what you guys/gals are up to.

Hi yall!

I've been lurking for a while, bu just signed up.

From Reykjavik, Iceland (Europe). Not that interesting bike culture here, but probably more than expected. Got a '03 Softail and a '78 Shovel.
Getting the shovel back on the road for the season after a complete build up, new frame and finally a descent look. Wanted a light bike to haul around town, and pretty much have that now! Engine and trans will have to wait until next winter though.

That is all

Whats up 33. I am pretty new to this board, spent the past few week lurking. I must say I am impressed by the knowledge on this board, anyway enough making you guys feel good about yourselves. I live in Brooklyn NY and am looking for my third bike, first to chop. I had been riding a 1971 CL350 which I had in a more 'cafe' style, which I got tired of and brought back to a better looking stock form, and then sold it. I am currently running on a 1990 VTR250, I know, but hear me out. I came across it on craigs for a couple hundred, I talked the PO down to $40, it had been sitting outside in the brooklyn environment collecting trash, I spent a weekend and got it to run better than the 350, and spray bombed it black, it doesn't deserve more than that. I also have a little 80cc safari top tank moped, for beer and sandwich runs. I am currently looking for a 3rd bike(i dont count the moped as anything) to chop, I have a rough plan that involves a frisco tank, king&queen seat, and some gold flake.

04-09-2012, 3:51 PM
Good evening all, Been hangingaround for a few months now so thought it was about time I introduced myself.
I live in good old blighty on the Staffordshire Shropshire border and love custom motorcycles.
I have had a few in the past and am currently riding a big old thing I bought while living in the States.
Not really chopped but I like it and it is still a work in progress.

Since these where taken I have added a foot clutch and jockey shift
Upswept fishtails are next.

I've been lurking around here the last couple weeks, checking the site out. This is one hell of a community! I especially like the classifieds! I've alway been the type that doesn't care what you ride, you're my brother if you're on two wheels. and I've always been a fan of garage tech and makin' it work. That's what the Cult is all about!
I live in central Illinois. I've had my 02 883 (1200 conversion) for about 10 years. I was really into cars before that. I've customized a few thing on it, basically motor stuff, bars, risers, pipes. I've always wanted to get into the more heavy customization, but I can't be without a ride! I recently purchased my first project, an 84 xlx. The bike was already ratted out, but I have a different vision. Which is why I'm here!
I'll probably ask some newbie questions, so bear with me. If there are any cultists in the area, hit me up, I'll ride with ya! Hopefully on the Bobber soon!

Hello , my name's chris , but I go by ShortStack . Puttin down roots in Chesapeake ,Va. Stumbled onto the sight a while back ,so figured I say hey and introduce my self to the community . I got a built by me CFL ,it's black , and the polished motor is black cause that shits a pain in the ass to polish , so I just leave all the road grime on it ,less time cleaning more time ridin . I know there's got to be more locals on here , let's go ridin and drinking some beer . !

Hey all,
I've been a long time lurker and decided to join when I found myself getting a Sportster the other day. I figured I might try my hand at tearing up one of those. I've been a part of the hot rod scene in TN for a while now. I sold off all my junk a few years ago and dropped out of the club I was in and got a couple little motorcycles and began a love affair with two wheels. I like EVERYTHING with two wheels...little....big.....cheap...slow.....fast.. .scooter...sportbike....etc. I currently have a Sportster and a Yamaha Zuma 50cc (which is technically my wife's). I love that little thing. It's like a model car that you can ride. I've been souping that thing up for about a year now and got it so it flies (if you count 45mph as flying haha). Next step is a bigger top end and then things should get sufficently stupid.

The Sportster I have is nothing to brag about, but it runs and it's mine. I plan on messing with it for the next few years. I also plan on riding it a lot, so the modifications will be done to keep me interested in the bike.

Here is what it looked like a week ago....since this pic I've stripped about 20 lbs of crap off of it and painted it with the old standby krylon spray bombs. I like stuff to look minimal, useful, and clean....but worn.

After one week of ownership. Not much I know, but it's a start in the right direction.

I'm also an artist.

Here's an older piece of art of mine....funny the bike is blue in that pic I didn't notice that until now.

04-22-2012, 6:58 PM
been riiding & in the wind since I had a license, & I was 5 years old for riding dirt bikes. 45 now.
I got my first Harley basket case in 1982, a 45" 1970's period chopper, & built it as I learned, but it wasnt the first Harley I rode. & have owned many over the years. I have always loved stripped down bikes, after my first mistake of buying a Electraglide at 17 years old, I swore never again, to big, to heavy, to awakward, scary to take off road, I may have shocks, on some bikes I have built, but bike will be light weight & easy to handle.

been on the board for a week or so, been posting, but had not done an intro yet.

my current project is a 76 shovel motor, with a 1948 wishbone frame, it wont be "normal" to say the least, probably only raked bearing cups, & a 21" front wheel with maybe 2 to 4" over front, tall risers, & step style drag bars with a cross brace like dirt track style, I got to have a place for my drink holder, & velcro speakers for the MP3 player, planning for dual fuel tanks, looking for a 400 mile cruising range, a luggage rack on the front tank similiar to old Triumphs, hand shift, kick only. a hinged rigid style rear fender, I have my reasons, I am planning to do some cross country rides, & rack up loads of miles, I wont be able to get real serious until after October, as I get 2 bills off of me, & can start buillding. hope ya'll like the teaser?

the colors will be black, in both flat, & semigloss, & wrinkle, as well as black anodizing, & some parkerizing, & orange, with polished stainless steel bolts. probably only chrome will be the bars, & maybe the air filter.

Hey Guys!

Long time CC Troller, Finally got a account. Ive been building for about 2 years, and Painting for about 5. Into all things Flakes and Flames, from the 50's to current. Just finished my own 95' 883 in under 48 Hours. Still have to paint it but its the least of my worries.

Cant wait to chew the fat all day on here.

Thanks Magoo!

p.s., I threw in a Before (Friday 5pm) and a After (Sunday 8pm) let me know what ya think!

04-23-2012, 12:56 AM

I'm not much on intros. Bad at elevator speeches, too. I find that most of what people tell other people about themselves is worthless.

I do like bikes, though. Have some. Work in a shop. All that noise.

Seems like a cool enough place here. There's some good tech, some builds I like, and a decent attitude. That last bit is important, seeing as we're all fake people talking to our computers. Amazing how many people forget that.

Anyway... enough of this. Need to get some sleep. Lots of work to be done...

04-23-2012, 11:25 AM
Hey everyone!! After stumbling onto this forum and reading a few posts, I realized that this is the group of sick, twisted freaks I've been looking for!!! I have a '78 Ironhead rigid and a Street Bob that I can't seem to quit messin' with- man, this forum is perfect for me!!! After trying some other bike forums- I'm not going to mention which ones- I decided, in the immortal words of Jeff Spiccoli- "Those guys are fags!!" Anyway, I love the site, all things chopper, huge metalflake, drum brakes, spools, etc... You guys rule!!! :killerjob:

04-23-2012, 12:23 PM
I'm Dan, an old man from SE Wisconsin. Only 1 bike at the moment and it's as far from a chop as can be. Hopefully it'll have a stablemate sooner rather than later. I ride predominantly H-D but grew up in a Yamaha/Triumph dealership, so I appreciate a pretty broad spectrum of 2 wheeled fun. I'll try not to be a dick.

04-23-2012, 2:47 PM
New member, old visitor. I'm Ryan from Mansfield, TX. I ride a '01 bonneville. Here for good company and meeting some folks to ride with.

Hey there! Brand new to this site. I was directed here by a buddy because of the classifieds but I knew I would like this place just from the content of the welcome email. I currently have a 1980 honda cb650 in pieces in my garage that I am hoping to turn into a decent looking bobber. This is my first build and I don't really have much experience in anything like this but I hope to glean some knowledge from this site and hopefully be able to post pics of my eventual finished product

04-25-2012, 9:44 PM
Oi! I'm Adam from St.Pete FLA

Some gnarly bikes and dudes on here, don't hate on me too much lol

Just a 20yr punk with a lust for the ugly garage built rats and chopz...My popz (told me about this forum) ruined me. Grew up around 2 wheels. From the road racing track to city hooliganism shit. Been riding on the street for over 3 years now and been through 4 bikes. first was XS650. LTD 440 BMW K100 GS500. Last month I bought my first sporty. Stoked! 3 weeks and 3000 miles. Stock 2001 custom 883 just new bars and cafe fairing. Got a legit job so now looking to start my first build soon.

Hardcore & punk, fixed gear bicycles, tattoos and motorcycles that is about all my life consists of...

04-26-2012, 9:30 AM
I've been lurking on this forum for a while and liked it so much that I decicded to join. Love all the pics, stories, and all other stuff about all things motorcycle related. I recently started riding again after 14 years. I had a crotch rocket as a teenager and recently bought a cruiser. I enjoy hitting the road with no paticular place to go. Like I tell my wife, "It's hard to be angry when I'm on my bike!"

I was worried that my motorcycle habit would interfere with "family time" but my wife enjoys riding with me and my 9 year old daughter, after taking a ride around the block with me is now excited about riding and asked me to pick her up from school on the motorcycle. I might have to build a sidecar so all of us can ride together.

Thanks for the inspirations and camaraderie.

04-27-2012, 11:24 AM
Just found this; love this site and I wish there were more of yall in Charleston. I have 1 ass and 2 bikes about to be 3. My first, and only true love, is my 1970 cb100--she scoots. I then bought myself a 72 cb350f for my 24 birthday. I've always wanted a chopper and ever since riding a friend's BSA that felt like a shopping cart going to a mountainside I have been set on building one. I recently purchased a 78 xs650 and will be chopping her up soon and hopefully keeping a photo journal of the process on here. Hope to run into some of you guys/gals in the near future

04-28-2012, 4:25 PM
Just a short introduction..........I found this site through another more traditional chopper site and I have to say the content here is awesome. I have been riding for 37 years and now am rolling on a 2002 Road King, but a hard tail project is on the horizon.

04-29-2012, 8:08 PM
Looking forward to learning a lot from this forum! Currently waiting for my 67 triumph to come back from paint! Previously owned bikes 70 trophy 500 long bike, 78 ironhead, 96 1200 custom and a 2008 deluxe!

04-29-2012, 8:43 PM
I've Been checking out the Classifieds for a while now. Just recently started taking part in the forum.
I Have a few bikes, none of which are stock, But my Pride and joy would have to be my 79 Ironhead chopper, which I've had in some way shape or form since i was 13. 20plus years and i'm still not finished with chopping it.

04-29-2012, 9:04 PM
I am a vintage bike enthusiast. I have a small shop in El Monte, CA. I help out with Sam Wheeler on the EZ-Hook streamliner. I was building oil tanks for Cali Choppers for about 5 years, that were sold by Lowbrow and Kieth Moore. I do lots of one off custom parts for cars and bikes. Custom cars, hot rod, and race car chassis is mostly what I do. Motor and trany swaps, headers, exhaust, steering, brakes, and suspension. I also machine small one off parts for just about anything.

04-29-2012, 10:12 PM
Im new. I like to build shit.

See ya around.

04-30-2012, 5:27 AM
New member here, great site
I will need some encouragement to cut on my Lowrider
I would love to build a rigid but do not think my back could handle it,
may need to keep the swingarm intact?

04-30-2012, 9:09 AM
Hi All,

I'm new to the site so thought I would say hey! I always have questions regarding my bikes and this place looks like the place to be. I'm currently working on my T120 Triumph Chop and Honda CJ360 cafe thing. I have been working on my own bikes for about a year or so. I finally bought a welder so I have started sticking bits of metal together which my triumph promptly dispatches down the motorways around London.

ps, if anyone finds a black and silver number plate with Lucas tail light attached somewhere down the M3 then PM me.

04-30-2012, 11:19 AM
Been riding Harley's since 1963 but I still don't know everything. I just do shit.. Other people sometimes tell me what I do can't be done but I'm usually too deep to give up by then.
I ride a shovelhead. I think they are the cheapest bike to own for the long run. They are like a Chevrolet. The junk yards are full.

04-30-2012, 6:01 PM

04-30-2012, 10:16 PM
Just posted my first build on here, figured I'd throw up my intro.

Im from Duluth, MN and going to school at UMD (go dogs!!). Im into any powersport but spend most my time and money on bikes, sleds and stand up jet skis.

If anyone rides street or dirtbikes in the area and wants to hookup for some riding, pm me.
