you need to finish this and ride it to the twine ball rally next year. how are you going to do the pegs/controls?

i was wondering if he's gonna run the disc front - with a big ol ugly master cyl on his bars!

ya jsut run a spooly...no front brakes.

twine ball run is on the agenda. as far as the brakes go yeah they ugly but form follows function and i gotta be able to stop. the rest of the legs might get shaved you know fender tabs and reflector pads etc. really all that is left now is oil system, electrics and controls, rear fender struts. not bad considering i only have about a grand into the build including the donor bike.

foot pegs will probably be stock mid mounts with some anderson pegs i got laying around, till i decide the shit is too cramped for my 6'4" ass then i'll figure out how to make forward not look gay on a brit bike.

ya thats going to be fun riding that small ass bike to twine ball as tall as you are hahahaha looks good man... check out the xs650's on the jap forum. might be able to pull some ideas for forward controls from them. there is a company in colorado i think that does the weld on frames for those bikes(xs650), and make there own forwards for them.....

...god i want a xs650 bad....

got my handcontrols mounted last night. they're big and ugly but i don't think they look too bad. i got no room left on the drag bars.

not finish welded but ground to see where the holes are so i can do a better pass and get everything. it's gonna be an upright tank. i'll drill for the filler neck later.
