no offense bros, but iron metal flake transfers feel l like toaster ovens pressing against your skin in +100 degree and/or 95% humidity.

We're quasi shirt snobs around here, so ours will be screenprinted with high-tech inks, soft to the touch and comfy indoors, outdoors, on the bike and in the bar.

And after you wear it for three weeks, i'll make an awesome shop rag.

Thanks for the enthusiasm. We're ordering shirts next week...

Any other colors though? I've got more black t-shirts than I can shake a stick at.

BigDawg,

We do different colors all the time and always end up selling like 9 to 1 black, so we're starting with these. If people give a shit and we can sell some then we'll do some other colors too down the road.

It makes sense. Bikers are hardcore and black is hardcore.

One of my favorite shirts is a navy blue Biltwell shirt.

Ha! Mine too. The one with the 45 on it. We couldn't give the ones on white or grey away. Chocolate and navy have done OK. I guess those are the gateway colors for hard core tough dudes who are curious about other colors and don't wanna swing all the way to white just yet... I talk shit, but yet half of my shirts are black, I'm just too much of a slob and end up ruining the lighter stuff.

Like I said, more than half of my shirts are black...and it doesn't help that UGA colors are red and black. The worst part about it is when my two WHITE dogs want me to play with them when I'm wearing one of my 200 black shirts. White hair and slobber spots show up best on black shirts.

Since the t-shirt design contest last month we've been working on getting some goodies together for the Chop Cult Store. Over the next couple weeks we are going to redo the "Cash" store. The "Miles" store will remain the same, though some of this stuff will get added to it and my wife is going to take over running it so service improves there. We realize this has been a little clunky and we're adding people and technology to make it better.

We've got a few things in the works; t-shirts, two patches, a hat, a hoodie, a hand-made leather key fob dealy-bob made by our friend Fredo and these ignition covers we collaborated with Bench*Mark to create. These are fresh out of the CNC machine this past weekend and are going to get media blasted inside the lightning bolt area and then a full polish around the outside surface.

Sorry guys, we're just waiting on authorize.net to do their thing with the bank etc. It's a pain in the ass at first but makes for a secure store long term. We could just do the paypal thing but that just turns into a clusterfuck. This way the order process will be legit and people will get the goods on time, credit card info is rock solid secure, etc. Mid Feb looks realistic and we will not take preorders because it is too easy for something to derail and we want to underpromise and overdeliver.

We picked up the Bench*Mark (http://bnchmark.blogspot.com/)-made points covers from polishing today and whoa, they are bad ass. I failed to snap a pic but will soon.

Today we got some key fobs in from our bud Fredo. He's starting a small leather working company called Star Leather. These are little gems, each one made by hand by a Chop Cult member. He modified a deep socket to make the wavy star pattern thing. They'll only be a few bucks and will be made in relatively small batches. Fredo also does belts and other leather work but is really into the gun thing. If you want to hit him up about a special holster or something, he's into it. You can contact him through his profile HERE (http://www.chopcult.com/Fredo/). Thanks Fredo!

EDR shirts are coming from a vendor in CA tomorrow and shirts and hoods coming next week from the same guy in Ohio who does all the Lowbrow (http://www.lowbrowcustoms.com/) apparel. Did I mention the hats were printed by Andy and crew at American Icon (http://www.americaniconmerch.com/) in NY?

50 cents or two for a dollar. They are period correct, so they are worth more.

hey I was thinking and after the initial pain I started to wonder if, since we have so many Military dudes here can you make a long sleeve chop cult shirt on a bright color orange or yellow shirt? I know most bases you have to wear long sleeves and a bright color garment or you have to wear a reflective vest to get on post. So with a bright ass ugly shirt I can kill two stones and give them the bird and get on base with out the stooopid reflective vest.

Hey Bill, I'll take 2 of those quarters if you have them with 1 inch bearings to fit my Sporty Roadster. Could you send better pictures please? There are a lot of chinese fakes out there dontcha' know. Just wanna be sure.

Seriously though the new gear looks dope. I think you should make the skullicorn patch but change everything pink to od green, or reverse it and put a black skull and logo on an od background.

Much love to the servicemen out there. My buddy Super P is on here and he's career army with about 17 years served including 2 tours in Iraq and various other shit holes as well. Proud to call him a friend.

I tried buying the patches and I was unable to complete the deal due to not having an account. How do I get an account?

billdozer
02-10-2011, 12:11 AM
Bob,

By clicking "My Account" on the Store's main page, you will go here:

https://www.chopcult.com/store_cash/index.php?l=account&cc_SSSESS=qroj6tv7b9avcmmlmfhrpmmuh2

You will need to fill out the "Billing Information" and "Shipping Information" and then go to the bottom and fill out your "Account Information" which is a username and password.

Then click "Create Account" at the very bottom.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/billdozer/5432432613/" title="Picture-1 by Billdozer, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4104/5432432613_e61768780f_z.jpg" width="640" height="469" alt="Picture-1" /></a>

The store is not automatically linked to your profile or anything on here so that your info stays contained inside the secure store. Once you've made an account in the store, you can log in on this part (on the same page) and all of your shipping and billing info will be remembered, you can modify it, etc.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/billdozer/5433041956/" title="Picture-2 by Billdozer, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5216/5433041956_1a56150aac_z.jpg" width="640" height="179" alt="Picture-2" /></a>

Hope that helps.

Gyro, thanks for the offer. We have some friends right around the corner with a studio so they get all this kind of work. Or, I throw it on the table, put my G11 on "auto" and do it myself.

Sorry for the wait, we've put a fair amount of work into it and can't wait to see what you guys think. The points covers are super neat and we've got almost all the merch in and it looks great. Fredo killed it on the little leather key fobs. I'm the most stoked on these low-run bits made by our friends. We've got a couple other neat items in the works if this stuff moves so stay tuned.

I would like to know how you can charge 23$ for shipping a simple t-shirt to Canada? I'm running a record label and i'm pretty aware of how much are the fees for shipping a t-shirt over the border (more or less 10-12$ through airmail...). I was interested by that skull t-shirt but i'll pass my turn.

billdozer
02-14-2011, 10:25 PM
Well, I tweaked some shipping module stuff on the store and got it a little lower in the US, but not much help for Canada. I'll get some help on it tomorrow and pass on any saving I can get. $23 does seem a little steep for a shirt, even if it is across a border so we'll see what can be done. T2303, I got shipping to Mt. Morris down to $10.20, FYI.

I know and that's what my disclaimer of not being a dick was about, but you could load those flat rate boxes with granite and it'd still cost the same, I'm just suggesting they take advantage of what's availible, as much as I love and want to support this place and you guys its hard to justify a 30 dollar t-shirt after shipping.

Thanks for taking a look into it so quick bill it came up at 10.20 for one, when I said 15 and change (15.90) it was for 2 shirts.

My intention was not to be a jerk and spit on CC work. But business is business and i like to know how i spend my money. I'm ready to support CC but not at 41$ for a t-shirt. So, if something can be fixed, be sure that i'll do my part and support that great website.

There was. You can still get all that stuff from Lowbrow, anything that was in the store previously, they stock and ship daily.

Now the store on here is just for Chop Cult junk, which other than a couple t-shirts is only available here. We've got some other random bits in the works and will probably do some super low run stuff down the road.

I fucking HATE trucker caps. They ALL look ridiculous IMO. I've tried them and look goofier than normal in them and they're uncomfortable as ALL hell!! I usually wear DC hats, and fitted type hats, I guess they're called 59/50's or something.

Sorry Bill really wasn't saying free was to expensive, well maybe in a way but what I was saying is that ad is kinda of misleading and it would take a long time to rack up those kind of miles for a belt or wallet when there is so much other cool shit in the store to tempt you to buy. If it was for a custom seat it would be a lot easier to hold out on spending those free miles. My apologies in advance if I happen to piss anyone off this week. I'm a pretty cheap bastard, most of the time, and I have no complaints about the miles store. Free is free to me, but then again I'm the guy that put the "Jew" in Junior.

The hardest thing for me about the miles is not cashing them in for stickers or whatever all the time. I held out and got a sub to Cycle Source which is cool because my other one just expired and that's $20 I just spent on the project instead of a magazine.

I was looking to place an order in the miles and merch store, but noticed that the shopping carts are separate. Is there anyway I can combine the shipping and have it all shipped out together? Also, is the Skullicorn shirt 1200 miles, or 2400? Cause when I add it to my cart it says 2,400 miles are due? Thanks in advance, sorry for being a picky bitch!
