I'M pretty late posting on this project, I have a sr500.

Nice job on the rear fender loop and seat pan. wondering about the wheel clearance.

Where did you get the pipe and exhaust cone, Pipe has the same bend as the BSA BDB clubman.
(goldstar) I need a cone like yours, mine is short and loud.

Any new pictures?

bike looks sweet. what size firestones are they? i might be doing some myself.

payupcycles
07-24-2011, 12:02 PM
firestones are 18x4.50 in the rear and 19x4.00 in front
these tires really made the look of the bike
a little pricey but well worth it

took it for a ride yesterday and really got a kick out of it
very light and nimble in the turns
thought about selling it but my mind may be changing!!!!!!!!!!

ive been riding the bike and the front forks seem a little soft and ideas on how to solve this problem

BillyT

You can add oil, but that will add most of it's extra control towards the end of the travel. I always put two extra cap fulls of fluid in every set of forks I lower. You can also add a preload spacer if you want to pull them completely apart.
