After doing all the metal, fab and body work two years ago, I finally got the desire to finish this thing. Funny thing was all I had to do was rebuild the top end of the engine and through it back in the frame, most be close to the world record for a top end rebuild. I have only been able to ride it twice, but it was pleasant, and definitely a gentlemen's bike, compared the british bikes that I normally ride. Sadly, it will be up for sale soon, as I need to pay for my new car.:(

I am not entirely sure what to ask for it. The bike market up here is quite different than it is in the US. Bikes here are a lot more expensive, with that being said, I am focusing around the 5k range. Which for a bike that pretty much everything was rebuilt or reworked seems fair, and priced correctly for the local market.

i'd say 3000-3500 here in the states for a 550 but like you said, market is different up there. I have seen guys ask 5000 for one like it here in the states, but you can get a custom built jap chop for that much also, which is way more fab/frame work, etc. Either way, whatever someone pays for it is how much it is worth! Nice bike though. slick.

That thing is nice. Clean, simple, very pretty.
