Hello gurus,
I am going to go pick up an 82 KZ750 Ltd and start chopping. I really want to have a kick start bike. Is it possible to add that to a bike this bike? Is it very complicated? Where can you get the parts to do it?
I'm asking because I live in a small town and am picking up the bike in "the big city" so if I need to buy a few more supplies I am hoping to do it while I am there.

Thanks

unless you are best buds with punkskalar, I would just wait and buy a bike that has a kickstart. There are no kits to do what you are asking for that bike.

Which Z750 LTD?

Twin or the four?

Twins shouldn't be a problem, far as I know they all had kickstarts. Possibly just needs a lever.

Fours, I'm not sure but I seem to remember Don telling me that some of them have the cases machined for the kickstart gubbins (in which case the parts for a KZ650 should fit) and some of them don't have the cases machined, which makes it way the fuck more difficult, though not entirely impossible.

Hmmmmm, bummer,
It's a four. Here's a side pic of it. It looks to me like there is a place where a kick would go right below the dipstick?... but then I really have no idea what I'm talking about....

Take a look and let me know what you think.
Thanks

No 1997 Honda Rebels ever had a kickstart, or a handcrank for that matter...
