i have been looking all over for an ironhead swingarm frame but everytime i find a guy willin to sell his for the right price.... the dude is all for it and ceases to talk to me anymore...... for any reason. all i want is numbers on the goddamn thing!!!! everything else i need is almost to easy to come by, but this fuckin frame deal is wearin me thin...... its the only goddamn thing keeping me from gettin a roller in the garage to tighten up and start building on. holy fuck guys!!!!! ha ha ha. if anyone has one, or knows someone, or knows where to go to get one..... please let me know. i would be eternally grateful. well anyway, if you read this all the way through...... thanks for readin it. and if you know of anything please let me know.

Rule # 1: A frame with numbers and paperwork isn't going to be "the right price". Rule # 2: You have to pay the piper to hear the music! Early sporty frames had no numbers.

exactly right metalismo, thats why the early unmolested frames are so coveted , if you had a motor number title you are good to go, if you have a late model ironhead and paperwork, you are even better off cause a frame with no numbers is gold,

What years of Ironheads had no frame numbers?

70' Was the first year for frame numbers, with a exception of mismatched numbers in 79'.
