previous owner did a whack job of "bobbing" my bike. here is a pic of there version of a hardtail. question: should i wack both sides off and put shorty shocks on, or go the free route and clean up the welds?

lightly grind it down ,clean it up ,,,,do some molding make it unique,,you can easily save that and turn it into something original and different

weld,/mold your fender into those rails etc

gotta side view of the whole bike ?

What he said.

If you put on springs you'd have to add some top mounts I assume? It's ahrd to tell from those pics, but it doesn't look too horrible. A little clean up and you're all set.

thats what i was thinking. shes not goin to be the prettiest girl at the dance, but thats what i want. you can see where they had the fender mounted. my plan is to cut that off, except for the last 2", so i can still attack a fender . ill snap a sideview pic now.
