Don't they have weak bottom ends ( on the early ones ) that don't have big end bearings ?
I have never messed with them

I converted my 3TA engine to a 500.

Sold it and bought a T100SS engine.

The motors evolved quite a lot and an early 3TA is not a good place to start with making one go faster. Read up on them if you're thinking about doing that.

Actually the Triumph Terrier was the first unit motor. But that is just nit picking, and nose picking!!
