Alright so this might be a stupid question but does anyone make a sprocket for yamaha xs650's that bolts up to a harley wheel. I don't know much about sprockets and how they transition between bikes, can you just use an old harley sprocket or do you have to have one with a certain number of teeth and a certain diameter. If nobody makes ones does anybody know of a company that sells sprocket blanks or that can machine sprockets to customer specs. Any info is appreciated, thank you.

Thank you sprocket specialties. I just had one made to fit my harley 16 inch rear wheel. They will custom build you one any tooth size for $70. I just got mine recently, and it looks great. I had mine made in a 30 tooth. Hope this helps!

Harley uses 530 chain. XS uses 530 chain. Only issue will be finding a small enough HD sprocket to use on the HD hub and have a similar size to the XS. All that said-get a custom from Sprocket Specialties. About $80 for whatever you want. Give them the teeth#, inside hole diameter, Bolt circle, how many bolts and what size bolts. The $80 is plain Alum. You can get whatever you like for more $$.

Here is a link to do it for $14.49, unless you would rather pay 80 bucks.

just buy them from here like me and drill your own harley pattern, cheap n easy! pre 2000 harley wheels have a 2" hub diameter like the sprockets in the link below. after 2000 i believe they go upto 2 1/4" dia.? you have from 9 teeth all the way to 70 something to choose from. you could prolly go with a 30ish for good freeway jam.
