Hiya.
Have 68 Bonne that I want to run a single carb instead of the twins. I have a nice 389 Amal, would that be enough to get the job done ?

Thanks

you lose a some top end HP when you run one carb. regardless of monoblock or 930.

and the monoblocks are less fuel efficient. not much difference in power from an amal 930.

but they look cooler. and for a little less fuel economy, no big deal. triumphs are way forgiving on interchanging carbs. you can run that no problem. it's just not going to be a drag bike.

The majority of 650's came from the factory with 1 monoblock on them, you'll be fine
