Hi guys! First of all, Im not sure if this should be in the jap or euro part, but Im guessing jap since the engine is jap and the frame will need some choppin...

Anyways, my thought is to mate a Yammy XS 400 DOHC engine with a frame from a Swedish NV36.. First thought was a 2-stroke Husky 390cc engine but my exs brothers got the engine, wont seem to answer when I contact him so here we are.

A NV36 looks like this:

Found a pic of a guy whos putting a 125cc engine in a frame like that

And this is my motor

Guess Im gonna need my crowbar.. Plan is to relocate seatpost further back, slice the frame open were the engine will sit and make room for it, mount the swing higher to get lower profile, dual 19" with ww, may end up with 21"front and 19" rear, girder front I got and so on.. Want a drag/cafeish vintage look..

Gathering parts now, will hopefully get the frame tonight.. Will probably start building it this week and I will update then!

wow, my first thought was "hey, isn't the frame a bit small even for the XS400 engine"? but hey, doing stuff different than others is what it's all about when building custom bikes.
I'm curious on how this will work out.

It will be a challenge, but I think itll work out fine.. If the frame is strong enough! We will see.. Didnt get the frame yeasterday, man Im so eager to cut it up but it seems Ill have to wait a few days more. Will pick up the wheels for it today so I can atleast start with them until I get the frame and rest.. Oh, got the perfect tank for this build

But it ended up with another tank.. Hopefully it will give that small racing look
