I have a bunch of japanese chopper mags with tons of bikes that run similar seats. I'll try to scan and post tomorrow.

In the mean time, here's a vid by Hide Moto

I believe Dan has that seat on his Sportster. You could PM him on here or go the Old Gold website for pictures.

Holy pimpin' seats, Batman! I want one of those seats in the diamond pattern for my rubber mount 05 Roadster. Gonna have to eat pb samiches for lunch for the next couple months in order to save up some cash. Nice job!

Anybody else running one of these seats? More pics? I'm supposed to be picking up another bike as a daily rider and I'm looking at seat options.

ok, so I have had so many emails about the rubbermount sporty seats that I figured I'd just post an update. The cost for me to mass produce them is super high right now. Kind of cost prohibitive. So I'm thinking I might just do them as a special order item, seeing as I will have to cut each seat pan out and hand shape it, fabricate the front bracket etc. This means they probably wont be cheap, but I know you guys have limited options for seats, so if you really want one, it can be done. I'll be trying to figure out how many hours it takes me, so I can come up with a fair price. Thanks again for all the feedback. I'll keep looking at manufacturing options to see if I can get them done in a more cost effective way. I just wanna build cool shit, I hate having to worry about weather or not it makes sense, but thats how it is...

Got mine in the mail last week and got it put on on Sunday with the new tank and fender. I LOVE it. Easy to install and looks awesome. The only thing I would do different is drill the hole for the tank mount before I get the fender painted because it doesn't mount in the stock location. It wasn't hard, it's just a bitch trying to drill on a fender with brand new paint without messing it up. My seat does sit up off the frame rails just a little bit but I think it'll wear in after a little while and be fine. Bike is almost done. Got a wheel and pipes on order and that'll be it for a while.
Thanks Dan!

hey Kurt, that looks awesome. I realized reading this that I might have forgotten to include instructions with the seat. if you take it off and tap a few times gently on the front tongue(frame) so that it sits level with the frame it wont sit as high in front. Just use a rubber mallet or even pliers will work if you wrap it up to protect the paint.

Thanks man. Yeah I was thinking about doing that. I'll pull it off tonight and bend it down.

I wasn't actually at Born Free 2, I was in Germany at Bottrop, but I had some young punks workin the booth for me...probably getting me in trouble. I havent made any Dyna seats YET, but a friend of mine just bought one and will probably be bringing it up to the shop next week for me to build a prototype and see whats involved, so you never know...

I went with the snake charmer for a rigid shovel. The extra $60 for real leather was a no brainer. I cant say enough about the quality of this seat. I really only use this site for the classifieds so i cant figure out how to post a photo for the life of me, here is a link to some photos i posted on Church of Choppers:

I just purchased a weld-on license plate & taillight mount that will give the fender a Crazy Frank's look. I'll be modifying the seat into a king/ queen style.
