What if any modifications will be required to fit my '71 Tiger front end on to my '68 T120R frame?

I'm starting a build and would rather use the pre '71 frame the isn't OIF so i dont have to mess with the OIF frame that is in perfect shape. The plan is just to take all the components from the '71 and move them into the T120R with a bolt on hard tail section.

Thanks in advance

Well the brake on the 71 sucks ass ! But other then that I don't remeber it bieng hard to do at all . I bought tapered roller bearing races for my 70 frame and then went down to the local bearing house and got the taper bearing for my neck . That was it . It has been many years since I did it so I might have forgoten some of the details !

You need to machine an adapter from 3/4" to 1" because the oif stem is smaller. Not hard to do, and people sell the adapters.

Gate City Cycle Center in New Hampshire has the roller bearing conversion to adapt a post'71 front end to your frame. Just got bearings from them. Very helpful people.
