In what spare time I could scratch, I got my BSA running just about perfect..for me, anyways. Should have some Amal 930s in a week or so, so I can get rid of my mid range flat spot.

It starts good from cold, anyways.

Watch me think it's about to fall over when I go get the camera. What a fucking dork.
My mirror is too cool for any mortal man. I got it today for $10 at the WALNECK swap meet here in KY. I think it's an original West Coast piece.

Good job man, looks great. On any other bike I'd dump the mirror, but somehow it looks good on the beeza. Sounds killer too!!

Nice work! Congrat's, you are now in the ultra-rare, way-badass "Iron Cross" MC (mirror club). This rare piece can only be applied to the coolest of bikes......
My 66 was originally a 70's build and came with a pair of these beauties. I didn't have the heart not to run at least one......

:killerjob: Well tuned!

You know the flat spot can be the air cleaner delivery.

I bet you a :cheersmate: ... If you took a manometer to the carb sync:

1. Find the highest rpm of the low speed screws ~ Drop the idle down so both low speeds look even.
2. Now, sync the slides even to each other.
3. Get it? The vacuum does not know who or what air is sucking through a hole or under a slide rise. Set the slide first then clean the level with the low speed screws. They even out either way.

No matter how you sync the carbs, you balanced the slow speed against the slow speed so they balance. You balanced the slides the same way. Bet me you can 1/4 kick that puppy is to walk up to that cold kicker arm now. :D

Damn...I guess that's a tool I need to buy. Thanks for that...might try after I find this fuckin' OIL leak I just witnessed in the dark.

And thanks for the compliments, fellas.
