i've never seen a brit bike with forwards that looked good... made a set for mine, hated them and cut 'em back off.

I have seen some , I would like to put a set on my Triumph ...from what I have seen the best way is to come off the front engine mount and drop down with plate and run a bar all the way across the front like these I found pics of

Joel's right, they usually look really clumsy.
I understand the problem, I'm 6' 3" myself, but I ended up changing handlebars around til I found some which made the stock pegs feel comfortable.

+1

the forwards i made, welded to the frame rails just below where they attach the downtube. They were completely seperate. Here are a couple pics (warning: i told you they were ugly! lol)

Watched this video on YouTube a few days ago. It's pretty good. But I agree, they always seem to have one solid bar going across the front of the frame. I think that stands out as "bolt-on". But this video shows some good ideas!

I like running the pegs forward because stock I'm to cramped up I just try no to make them to far out past the engine .

Yep, I agree I have been trying to come up with a way to run a set on my 70 ....The stock ones are just to far back under me ...Mine is alittle tricky having the wrap around right side pipes though .....We have been trying to come off the front engine mounts in the front tube my frame has the 2 bolts running throuhg the frame and one in the engine ...But coming off the back mount bolt is a good idea I never thought of thanks Trump.....

im only 5'8 and i had the bar across the front style forwards - hate - im too short for one thing and i felt "out of control" on the bike - i put the stock footpegs on and now i feel more a part of the bike - but if i was 6'2 id be looking for forwards too LOL

i still have the bar and the brake/shift foot thingys on there cause i didnt have stock motor mounts - i get a set of motor mounts from Four Aces Wes - now im just lazy
