The tubes are controlled by air instead of oil forks , see how that works ...But yea has the forward axle dual disc front and disc rear mags very funny how things fall in place like you said...

Crazy!! :D I have a 54 trump pre unit I'm working on... and last week I bought a Kawasaki z750 twin...

However, as the 750 is in good running condition I'm planning on building it as a cheap (hopefully!) quicker (hopefully!) alternative to the trump. And one of the things I want to do is drop the forks! So I shall be following you closely... I took one look at those air valves at the top of the legs and thought ahhh shit, that's going to be interesting....

Good luck man and keep us posted!!

Well I picked up a 650 unit jug freshly bored .40 over and honed with pistons, rings, pins, circlips, and tappets

plus a TR6 9 bolt head in real nice shape with almost new valves ,guides, springs all that ..Got the lot for $300 ....So now I am alot closer ....Buy gaskets and bearings internal stuff I need to reassemble and I think we are about ready to rock and roll on this bitch.....

Discovered the Kaw rear mag doesnt like the david bird Hardtail so I am going to have my machinist see what he can do as far as moving the rotor in and narrowing the rim ...See how that works out ...get some pics of things soon maybe...
