there was a i think it was called a gyrocopter made powered by triumph. cant tell in the pics if thats one or a one off

I think its prolly a home made job. you can see the remains of the original frame rails.

Wonder why they choose to keep the trans, maybe just for the clutch? I don't know jack shit about heli's but I'd think they be WFO full time.

I have an old newspaper article from SoCal that my pops saved from the early 70's with one of those Triumph Helos in it. I'll see if I can dig it up. Pretty cool.

the british used the triumph speed twin engine starting in 1943 as a generator in the Lancaster bombers.

it provided power for the hydraulic, and electrical systems.

so i'd rock that fuckin' chopper!
