Could anyone tell me the hub size of a later rear rotor? I have an early style rotor I need to put on a later style wheel. The hub hole is smaller on the earlier rotors. The new style one is 2.2ish. Just want to confirm the actual. Don't have the wheel or a later year rotor to measure

Thanks!

You can't put early 1.9 on a 2.2 without a hub adapter. But if you do that it's going to space rotor out. Why not put the 2.2 on rim ?

why do I need an adapter? It's the same bolt pattern. It's a later Harley soft tail wheel that I'm putting a early rotor on for my shovel. I'm just going to bore out the rotor centre. Done it before, it's all I have available to use or I would just use a newer style

Ok Now I understand your question....... You don't need an adapter.... I've done it before....... Just bore it out.....

I can go out and measure it but I think it's 2.2..... Since it's almost the same. What I would do is when you get the new wheel match it up as they aren't always cut the same.....

This^. Take it to a local machinist and have them bore the center.

Mine measure 2.215".

See that's why I said wait until you get the wheel and measure it.....Then turn the rotor to fit.....
