I was wondering if all of the dimensions for the engine mounts are the same for a shovelhead or did Harley make changes to them over the years. I've been trying to find an answer but haven't had any luck. Thanks

Is the question will a Shovelhead engine fit a shovelhead frame?
Then yes.
Most aftermarket big twin frames will fit Any big twin from 1936 to 1999.
Any factory big twin frame meant for 1966 to1999 will accept a Shovel motor.
84-99 excluding the rubber mounted frames.
Some FXRs are fine if the trans case is right....

Earlier frames need the seatpost "stretched". But the motor mounts are the same. 48-64
36-47 need a spacer under the front mounts for Pan or Shovel cases. And are also short.

On to transmission fitment...

All knucks were 1.625 step front to rear, but I suspect it was just a typo and you meant 47.

Alright Thank you guys. That's what I guessed but I just wanted to make sure.
