Hey guys, wondering if anyone knows what model number of K&N filter (or other brand) fits an 81 Honda CB650 stock carburetor. I've tried two different types and both outside base diameters are too wide!

There are a million different models and none seem to be the width I need. It's driving me nuts!!

Any suggestions would save me a lot of time and headaches.

Thanks,

E

These are not K&N but they're pods and they have tons of different sizes. I got some for my 1980 cb 750 but haven't been able to get it to run with them on it yet.

Mikesxs have some good looking ones too and they're cheap. 16.00 usd each for 54mm which should be the right size for your bike. http://www.mikesxs.net/products-40.html#products

when you have these pods on there you need to change the main jets .
mine on a gs550 went from 87 to 100.
i could not find any for my bike so i drilled mine with a 1 mm drill .
wiht those pods youre engine gets more air so the mixture isnt wright anymore it needs more gasoline.

hope this helps.

Let me know what size they are. Some asshole sold me a set for my CB750 that weren't the right ones, they weren't large enough. If so I'll hook you up. They're still in the boxes, and the box for shipping too.
