View Full Version : My winging it build.

So I got a bike for a steal, and then I continued to make it work with my limited knowledge of how things should work. It's a 1993 magna 750 that somebody converted into a hard tail and made it look ugly. I made it run and look better using some pretty unconventional and probably unsafe methods. As soon as I figure this whole forum thing out I'll add my pictures.

Start from the bottom, I uploaded it backwards.

The gas tank was to damn big and it interfered with turning slightly so I got a smaller tank, didn't even think about the location of the petcock since I bought it at 2am . so now I have to figure out a way to either move the petcock or just bypass it in general and put an inline fuel shutoff.

Yeah, that big tank was... hideous. Good upgrade.

So I got the new tank, only problem with a magna is you cant modify the airbox or it will run like crap. I have to find a way to cap off the 13/16 so that I can install a fitting for the fuel like to connect directly to the tank. Then I will use an inline fuel shutoff. If anybody knows of a cap I can use that would be great.
