So a while back me and my brother started a project on an old gs450 I had sitting in the garage. Someone gave me a wrecked EX500 and we swapped the motor off it onto the GS frame. Chopped the rear end off the frame and lowered it. Mounted a dyna glide solo seat on it. Made some custom bars etc. just picked up some stuff to do forward foot controls at the Barber Swap Meet today. I'm still working out some bugs but it runs pretty good.

Man that is one interesting mix you got there.

Is that bullet the seat for your passenger? If you can get that EX to buss a little, I have a feeling it'll be a popular riding spot! Lmao.

Bust seriously, I like it. It's unique, clearly has some clever work in porting that motor into it. I'd say you could clean up the struts and passenger seat mount, but beyond that, good build.

I appreciate it. Yeah it's a .50 cal bullet. It'll only be used as a solo bike so hopefully I never found out what using it as a seat is like 😳. It doesn't run right without the original airbox on it so I don't know how long it'll stick around be it does okay. Wanting to do a VStar build soon.

It probably just needs jets- it takes patience, but you can have it running better than stock with a good rejet. Also, you wouldn't happen to still have that GS motor/electrics around, do you? I need an igniter for one, mine fried.

Also, skip the Vstar build, and just do a Shadow. You won't have to fiddle with shaft drive systems, plus it makes better power (750 vs 650 cc). My buddy had a Shadow, and I had a Star, and the Shadow ran circles around the Star.

I know I have the motor. I'm pretty positive I have the wiring harness and everything too but I'll have to dig for it. I was planning on selling it all. It's in the shop at my parents house. I'll probly be up there this weekend so I can check for you.

I was wanting to do a vstar 1100 instead of a 650. I'm not opposed to a shadow either though.

If you've got the igniter, how much do you want for it?
