Picked this CL450 chopper up cheap while on a moto trip from Buffalo, NY to Asheville, NC. Story has it that the original owner built this bike for his mistress in the 70's and it hid in the garage from his wife until just about a year ago. Cool points are the original paint weed leaf/bodacious babe tank/side covers, 16" HD rim laced to the original hub, neck is raked proper with original neck intact, 8" over forks, Lefco swingarm bracket to move the rear shocks back a few inches, trident sissy bar, mini apes, slash cut turnouts, chrome EVERYTHING...

Love it or hate it, there's no denying that this thing oozes 70's sleaze. So... What do I do with this thing?

Anyone have a flip-up king & queen seat? I think it would really set it off!

I love this bike!!! Not too many years ago I just started riding and my first bike as well as my next handfuls would be 70s Honda CBs and CLs. After I got over the Cafe phase I started enjoying doing them up in similar style. Sissy bar, comfortable bars, etc. Parts are cheap. You may find an old king and queen for that sucker on ebay. I had one that fit cb350. Have fun. That thing is so awesome!!!!

been riding the bike around, runs great. not as fast as my CL but I expected that with the open exhaust. has a charging issue (they all do) that I'm going to look into soon.
still looking for a K&Q seat
otherwise... leaving it as is

fitted a new king/queen seat that I got off ebay. Not 100% sold on it but you cant fit a normal seat on these things because they're a flip-up design.
I have to make or find a sissy bar that doesnt leave such a large gap
