I've recently changed my handlebar, seat, rear fender etc... and now it feels like it's time to change the tank out for something else. I feel a small sporty tank wouldn't look quite right but maybe king sporty? Any advice or suggestions? Fire away. <a href="http://s465.photobucket.com/albums/rr20/captureandrelease/?action=view&current=xs650june1720105.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i465.photobucket.com/albums/rr20/captureandrelease/xs650june1720105.jpg" border="0" alt="june 17 left"></a>

how about an alien tank? maybe a small wassel tank? i like the 2.5 sporty tanks as well. i think the king sporty tanks are a bit too wide, but it's only my opinion. good luck. the bike looks pretty killer as it sits now.

a modified sporty. do the "rodding technique" around the sides to create a scallop look. match the rear shaped like your axle plates and the front shape like the radius of the tank front profile. make that on both sides, tack it on every few inches then bash in the sides with a hammer shaping in the scallop.. bondo and prime and paint...just my..02

i agree that the small sporty tanks look better than the kings on these bikes. They are small so keep the proportions going. You have a nice looking scoot!
