I have a 78 cb750k with no headers or mufflers. the bike stock had 4-4 exhaust. I just found a 4-1 header from a 76 cb750f on craigslist will these work on my bike?

Check on the front of the oil filter cover.I think they had a set of cooling fins on them in 78.if so they might have to come off.I'll research a little

I think the cooling fins were on the F models

It will fit with no issues. If you want a nice stainless 4 into 1, consider Delkevic.

Thanks for the replys. Gonna pick it up tomorrow for 60 bucks comes with all the flanges and everything to bolt on just no muffler. After some of the prices I seen on ebay I thought this was a good price. hopefully I can stick a battery in this thing and get it to fire up. Been sitting for 12 years. I cleaned the carbs and all the other stuff just been waiting for some cheap pipes so I could try and start it

The way the header mounts to the head is different. 69-76 are pretty much the same, but 77-78 changed. All is not lost, you can get the earlier mounting spigots and use them on the 77-78 motors and the old style header will fit.
