Anybody on here made a bracket to support their carbs when running pods or a custom breadbox on there chops? I just don't like my carbs flopping around like a set of tits with no bra! And please don't say anything involving zip ties...

Hey man. So I'm running Steel Dragon airboxes on my bike and ran into the same thing. The easiest and most inconspicuous fix I came up with without added a bracket was to use some safety wire run underneath the #2 and 3 carb intake throats where the airbox is attached and I ran it up over the backbone and twisted it up. Carbs don't budge you'd be hard pressed to ever see it unless I pointed it out. It supports the carbs perfectly

I'd use a couple zip ties.

I'd use a couple zip ties.

My problem is I can't find zip ties that can hold up to the 40 hp of that 750! 😜😜😜

What I was saying works. Also I hope your bike is more than 40hp.....

So there's what I came up with after modifying my custom aluminum breadbox. Works like a fuckin champ! I'll post pics of it mounted on the bike after I get the tabs welded to the frame. :cheersmate:
