Cool man, I'd be interested to see how you mount that tank, just gonna set it on top of the dual backbone or retunnel it?

yeah just set it up top. The petcock mount is right smack dab in the middle of the right backbone tube. This is what my backbone looks like...

Ive thought of several solutions. All except 1 would be a pain in the ass. I thought of a couple different ways I could cut out all or part of my current backbone and replace with a single 1&1/4 tube. Which would work beautifully once it was done.

I could cut out or plug up the petcock mount on the tank and move it. Also a pain in the ass.

Or what I want to do is drill a 3/4 hole through the right side backbone mount and slide the petcock through there to the tank. BUT my petcock is too short, it needs to be about an inch longer (story of our lives...hence 'shortpork')

Its 2&1/2 from the base of the threads to the top of the screen. I need the threads to be probably 1 inch higher. Anybody know of something that would work? thread is 5/8ths wide.

Well this is what I came up with. Not the prettiest but I think shell work...
Looks like I chopped out way more than needed but the bottom of the tank has a weird boob coming out for the petcock threads so I had to keep grinding.

And with it on there...

Well I guess I had a few more Busch's last night that I recall. When I looked at my work today I cut it out at did this...

Obviously the better route.
