I have ridin a few, I have friends that live in NH, when ever I can make it up there in the winter they hook me up and let me ride there sleds.. I dont know a hole hell of alot bout them but the two he has have had alot of mods, done to them and the sumbitch fly, Im talkin over 100mph real quick... if I was in a state where snow was snow, I know I would have a couple, its a good time.

Nope, no sleds here in Alabama. I think it'd be kind of a waste here ;-) I do get out every once in awhile and ride the brother in laws jet ski though. It's a blast to hit 50-60 mph across a choppy lake.

hell ya they r a blast man, nothin like trees 3 feet from u when ur doing 100 down a trail. wave runners r great to. they r like riding a sled but they r not as fast and u go around in circles a lot unless ur on a river. i rode bitch on the back of a buddies going forward slowly and he hit reverse and we were doing a summer sault before i know what the helll was going on. it was awsome. then he sold them and got a speed boat and that was just bla to me.

I had a 98 summit 670 as my first sled and sold that to buy a 02 summit 800. There fun for sure, but Id rather have a bike. I mostly used my sled to get into stuff like this:

Oh ya and wear your fullface its a good idea:

I was riding out one day and hit a snow wall the groomer had built up, low light, fresh snow on top, couldn't see the 3 foot wall in front of a little hillclimb. We spent the night the day before in a cabin so we just cruised up the cat track with no helmets. The ride down sucked.
