me and my buddy just ripped his apart the float might need to be adjusted it can be done with a small screw driver i do beleive also tho those carbs have brass fitings press fit which can crack over time. if thats the case you will need some jb weld to fill in the cracks best way is to tear em apart clean and rebuild if you still have problems thats when the cracks might be the problem

pull out floats and shake em, make sure there is no gas inside of them. i repaired a brass set with some solder...then put them under water for an hour and make sure its all sealed up.

check the float needle also, clean out the passage real good and blow it out with compressed air. inspect needle. you can use some lapping compund in the passage and use the needle to work it around. make it seal up right..

might be time for a new needle also.

reset float hight after you know they dont have any holes in them.
