if you want them to be unique, skip the picks and make a set from your head, there will still be a small chance that you and someone else dreamed up the same bracket, but much less of a chance than looking at pics of others ideas first.

True Id like to make sure I've got a decently strong mount coming off a 1/2 round sissy bar connected to a skinny King Queen.

It's going to be a crap shoot if it will stay on and not break....... Years ago that was the big problem then and it still is..... I'm not trying to talk you out of it but I wanted to let you know......

There is an old movie {The Hard ride} that had a GREAT looking Knuckle chopper that had tall pipes.... If you want to see them in action find that movie.....

Better to see a pic of how tall they're going to be.

Was thinking maybe a Heim joint to allow slight movement ?

the problem with that is a heim is still metal, it might allow some movement, but won't do anything for vibration, and depending on the design if the bracketry could have both ends of your mounts vibrating at diferent rates, effectively making your pipes fight your sissybar even harder than if it was solidly mounted, if you are going to try and plan for vibe use a dense rubber or urathane, somehting that will absorb the vibe.

How warm would the pipes be that far back? If I welded bungs to the pipes then used urethane any chance it will melt?
