dude, post to the american bikes forum, A) it's the right place for it, you won't clutter up the main forum, and B) you're more likely to get a response.

They never made a 69 panhead frame....... Why do you think that's what you have??????

last pan was 65. if its a 69 its a genny shovel.

you could use a pan, genny shovel or a cone shovel as well i believe.

a evo would fit also but frame would have to be modified some.

1969 and back the title goes to the motor. 1970 and forward the title goes with the stamped frame. 69 would be a swingarm shovel. Most of your panhead frames are hardtail (wishbone 48-54 and straight leg 55-57), then dropseat swingarm (1958-1964). 1965 was the only year of the panhead swingarm frame that wasn't dropseat. What makes you say that it is a Pan frame, and why would you say a 69? If it is a 69 frame, you're going to want to put a titled motor in it. You will have some title troubles if you try to put a 70 or later cone motor in a frame without numbers. It isn't impossible, but it isn't easy.
