I have a Panhead tranny that jumps out of 3rd gear when I let off the throttle. The tranny was rebuilt about 6000 miles ago. I want to use it in a new build I'm doing, any help is appreciated!

If it's just started doing it lately, you've likely got a bent shift fork. It's a fairly common issue on 4 speeds as the shift forks are kind of thin. Once the fork gets a little bent, it doesn't hold the gear dogs fully engaged and makes it easier to jump out of gear. It's not a real difficult fix.

Yes I agree ...my 4 speed had a worn shifting fork in it..worn to a bevel...Those trans are easy to rebuild.
you should be able to do that yourself..

Thanks to all for the replies. I'll look into the shift fork.
