My 2012 Sporty stalls on most cold starts,..as in if it sits for a week. Is this normal? I'm thinking no because it's EFI and the computer should know to increase rpm to prevent from stalling. After about a minute of manual throttle manipulation she's fine for the rest of the day and purrs like a kitten.

Only mods are V&H pipes and DK intake.
Then I had the dealer install a V&H Fuel Pak which I assume they programmed. Yes, I know what happens when you assume...

I was going to break out the Fuel Pak manual and investigate but thought I'd ask here first.

Thanks!

I had a fuel pack on my dyna several years ago and it would do the same thing. What I did was call V&H customer support and they E-mailed me settings to try to fine tune it. I had to call 3 times but on the third time the settings they gave me were perfect. I would try calling V&H to see if they can help you.

No its not normal// A closed loop system like what you have should fire right up

Something to check is how well your battery is charged after it sits for that week.
A full charge and pushing about 13.8 volts is whats needed for an EFI. EFI needs plenty of juice to function correctly

Thanks guys. Just got the values from V&H. Going to do it myself to make sure. Will check the juice as well.

Verify throttle position calibration. And don't twist the throttle on startup like you would a carb, confuses the ECU.
Might be loosing fuel pressure prime,

Will the V&H map they gave me address throttle position? Or is that through another device? I'm not cracking the throttle on start up. Just blipping it a little after its started when I hear it starting to stall.

Mode 52 should show zero with throttle closed and 99 with throttle open.
They simply tell you to verify, with no course of action listed if the numbers didn't jive.

See step five under "entering values? this is how you "entered" the TPS values on the earlier fuelpacks.
Not sure if this is possible with your year. Or which mode, if any, to try it with.

Get your map here, or call them if you can't find a compatible one.
