This is my custom Sportster and I am having trouble finding a monoshock that is stiff enough to withstand my weight. It keeps bottoming out when I hit bumps on the road.

I weight 200lbs. Any one out there that knows about a really stiff monoshock , I would appreciate your help.

Thanks

You could try one off of a Honda Shadow VLX. I weigh 195 and it doesn't come close to bottoming out. It's not even on the hardest setting.

Doesn't that stretched swingers act as extra leverage against the shock?
Aren't most mono-shocks set op with a cantilever of some sort?
I think You might have better luck changing the shock mount and or pivot point geometry

put dual airshocks on it.

or perhaps a stiffer spring from eibach or racetech...
